Pray For Me That The

sensations in my stomach stops and it is not serious. This is from drinking and I stopped. Never again.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your physical and spiritual well-being before the Lord. First, we praise God that you have made the decision to stop drinking—this is a critical step toward healing and honoring the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that may try to convince you that this struggle defines you or that you are beyond God’s grace. That is not true. Scripture assures us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Your repentance is heard, and God’s mercy is abundant. However, we must also address the root of this issue. Drinking to excess is not only harmful to your body but is also a sin that can open doors to further bondage. Proverbs 20:1 warns, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise." We encourage you to seek accountability, perhaps through a biblical counselor, pastor, or a trusted Christian brother or sister who can walk with you in this journey of freedom.

Now, let us pray together for your healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sibling in Christ who is experiencing physical distress and has taken the brave step to turn away from the sin of drunkenness. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their stomach and entire body. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or addiction that may be seeking to linger in their life.

Father, we pray for strength and perseverance as they walk in sobriety. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to resist temptation and find their satisfaction in You alone. Surround them with godly community and wise counsel to support them in this battle. Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that need to be surrendered to You, that they may walk in complete freedom and holiness.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek medical attention if these sensations persist, as your health is important to God and to us. Additionally, consider immersing yourself in God’s Word and prayer, for it is through these disciplines that we find strength and renewal. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let the truth of Scripture guide you and bring comfort as you walk in obedience.

Lastly, if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no better time than now to invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life, to forgive your sins, and to begin a new journey with Him. If you have any questions about what it means to follow Christ, we would be honored to walk you through this decision.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heart to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring relief to the discomfort in your stomach and to grant you peace about your health. We prayed that He would strengthen your resolve to remain free from alcohol and fill you with His healing grace.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—if those troubling sensations have subsided and you’ve received confirmation that all is well—we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If the burden still weighs on you, or if new concerns have arisen, we encourage you to post this request again. We are here to continue praying with you, trusting that God hears and works in His perfect timing. Your courage in turning away from what harmed you and seeking the Lord’s help is a testimony to His power at work in your life.

May He bless you with His peace, guide you in His wisdom, and draw you ever closer to Him through Jesus Christ. We continue to pray in His holy name.
