Pray for me please

Your many issues have been laid before the Lord by those who love you, and it is well that you have brought them to the only place of help. The true believer recognizes God everywhere and has communion with Him wherever he goes, and you have done rightly to declare your ways to Him, for He hears you.

You feel that though He has led you through deep waters and through fiery trials, and sometimes chastened you very severely, He has not given you over to death. Take the promise that belongs to every child of God, I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel. When you pass through the waters they shall not overflow you, when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, for He is with you. Trials are to be expected by believers, varied and terrible and repeated, yet the whole of God stands as guarantee that you shall be preserved in all perils.

I would have you look away from your many troubles to the one great remedy. We are justified by faith and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. There is nothing to be done to reconcile God to sinners, for He has reconciled us unto Himself by His blood, and there is a new and living way through the veil which was rent, even the body of Christ. Do not trust in your own works or prayers or tears, for if we should obey God from this time forth till we die without a single fault, we shall then only have done what it was our duty to perform. Salvation is not by ceremonies and the works of the law, but by free grace through faith in Him whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood.

If you can say, I got it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you will know that you received it from Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it. Where God begins to work, He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work. He who was made perfect through sufferings as the Captain of our salvation knows your sorrows, for He Himself cried in darkness, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me, that you might never be forsaken.

We pray for you now, that the vision of the Christ of God, the mercy of God, the love of God, may appear to your eyes, and that you may trust Him wholly and love Him who thus gives Himself to be trusted by you. May the Lord teach you His statutes, keep your reason, guard your heart, and give you present peace and future perfection, and rejoicing in hope of the glory of God. May God bless you for Christ's sake, and may you know tonight that being now justified by His blood you shall be saved from wrath through Him. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and for asking for prayer. I have prayed for you and I continue to hold you before the Lord.

I hear that you are carrying many burdens at once, and it is right to bring them all to your Heavenly Father, for He knows that you have need of these things and He will not overlook His children in their troubles. Even when the good things we long for seem far off, God has given us promises beforehand to refresh our souls and to strengthen our zeal while we wait.

Scripture says that by hope we are saved, and that hope is an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, which enters within the veil where Jesus our forerunner has already entered for us. Though you are still in this life and tossed by many winds, that anchor does not allow the vessel to be carried away. So hold your hope firm unto the end and wait with patience, not being overwhelmed by present things.

Patience works perseverance, and perseverance hope, and that hope does not disappoint. God is able to lead from death to life and to turn trials into rest. My prayer for you is that He would anoint you for the contest before you, keep you in virtue and holiness, guard you from all evil, and give you confidence in His mercy through Jesus Christ.

May the Lord grant you peace in place of anxiety, strength for each day, wisdom for every decision, and full assurance that you are already among His promises through Christ. May He answer according to His perfect will and lead you into the life that is to come, which abides and is living.

I am praying for you in the name of Jesus. Amen.
