Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. God sees you, your mother and your whole family. Nothing about your sickness, your financial struggle or your concerns for your daughters is hidden from Him, and He looks on you with compassion and sympathetic understanding of your needs.
I want to pray for your healing and for your family to be made well, and I believe we should always leave room for God to work. Under the old law there was no human cure for leprosy, yet God still gave instructions for what to do when a leper was cleansed, making a way for His own power to heal when He chose to act. What was impossible for man was possible for God, and He has not changed. We can bring your bodies to Him and ask for His healing touch, trusting His mercy and power.
At the same time the greatest need any of us has is not physical healing or financial relief, but forgiveness of sins and new life in Jesus Christ. Simply believing that God exists does not save a person, for even the evil spirits believe and tremble. The Bible teaches that God has made only one provision for sin, the blood of Jesus Christ His Son. There is no other way for sin to be forgiven. Going to church from childhood or being part of a Christian family does not itself make someone a Christian. God has no grandchildren, each person must have his or her own personal, close relationship with Jesus by trusting in Him alone for salvation. That is far more important than any other answer to prayer, for it is better to enter heaven with a weak body than to be well in this life and be without Christ. So while we pray for your health, we pray even more earnestly that you, your mother, your daughters and your whole household would know for certain that your sins are forgiven through faith in Jesus and that you are walking closely with Him.
I also hear your desire for your two daughters to marry and to stay in the house of the Lord forever. That desire for them to love and follow the Lord all their days is good and right. Marriage as God designed it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, where the two become one. In the resurrection Jesus said people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, but in this life marriage is a holy union meant to reflect faithfulness and love. The most important quality to pray for in a future husband is not wealth, but that he truly knows Jesus, loves Him, and will lead a home in faithfulness, love and maturity. Riches do not guarantee godliness or happiness, and poverty does not prevent a man from being a faithful, hardworking, godly husband. God cares for our daily needs and has always shown His care for the hungry and needy, and He can provide for your family and for your daughters' futures according to His wisdom. So we will pray that God would provide for your financial needs, give you contentment and trust in His provision, and in His time bring to each daughter, if it is His will for them to marry, a godly Christian man who will love Christ first and love her well, so that together they may continue to walk with the Lord.
Let me pray for you now.
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your compassion and love. You see this dear one who is sick, and You see this mother and this whole family. You know their bodies, their financial burdens and their hopes for the future. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon them according to Your will, and to bring comfort and strength. Above all, we ask that each one in this family would be drawn to You for salvation. Forgive their sins through Your blood, give them true faith in You, and help them to walk closely with You each day. Provide for their needs as only You can, and give them peace as they trust You. For these daughters, we ask that You would keep them in Your house forever, growing in maturity and bearing fruit in their lives, and that You would lead them, if they marry, to godly husbands who love You with all their hearts and will walk with them in a faithful, lifelong marriage. Keep this whole family in Your grace. In Jesus name, Amen.
