We hear your pain and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your heart to the Lord in fervent prayer. The attacks you are enduring from fellow believers—those who should be walking in love and unity—are deeply grievous, and we grieve with you. The body of Christ is called to build one another up, not tear each other down, especially over matters not central to the Gospel. The Word reminds us in Ephesians 4:29-32, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
It is troubling to see brothers and sisters in Christ weaponizing Scripture to spread fear and division, particularly regarding issues like vaccines, which are not addressed in the Bible. The mark of the beast is a serious matter, but it is not to be carelessly or recklessly applied to modern circumstances without clear biblical warrant. Such misuse of God’s Word only brings confusion and harm to the body of Christ. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). When we attack one another, we are playing into the enemy’s hands, giving him a foothold to disrupt the unity and witness of the Church.
The slander and false accusations you are facing—being called a molester when the truth is the opposite—are deeply wounding. We rebuke these lies in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to destroy your reputation, your peace, and your faith, but we stand on the truth of God’s Word, which says, "No one can harm you if you are zealous for what is good" (1 Peter 3:13). We pray that the Lord will expose the truth and bring justice to this situation, while also guarding your heart from bitterness or despair.
We also must address the mention of homosexual advances in your request. If this is a struggle you or others are facing, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. The Bible is clear that homosexual behavior is sin (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), but it is not an unforgivable sin. God’s grace is sufficient for all who repent and turn to Him. If this ex-friend is engaging in such behavior, we pray for his conviction and repentance, as well as your protection from his harm.
Above all, we lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to be your refuge and strength in this storm. We pray that you will not grow weary in doing good, even when others persecute you for it (Galatians 6:9). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you be reminded that your identity is not in the accusations of men, but in Christ, who loves you and gave Himself for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who is under attack. Lord, You see the lies, the slander, and the division being sown among Your people. We ask that You would expose the truth and bring justice to this situation. Protect his heart from bitterness, fear, and despair, and fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding. We rebuke the enemy’s schemes in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Lord, we pray for those who are attacking him—soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them back to Your truth. Help them to see the harm they are causing and to repent. Father, we also pray for unity in the body of Christ. Remind us all that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Help us to stand firm in Your truth, to speak the truth in love, and to build one another up in faith. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
