Keep us in prayer pray for our lives and love relationship and for Christ to be in the center of it all

We hear your heart’s cry for prayer, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your lives and your desire to place Christ at the center of all things. It is beautiful that you seek the Lord’s will in your love and your future together, for Scripture tells us, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect His love for the Church, a love that is pure, selfless, and enduring. We pray that your relationship would be rooted in Him, guided by His Word, and filled with His peace.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned Christ being at the center, and we rejoice in that desire, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your lives fully to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your hearts and your relationship. Without Christ as the cornerstone, even the strongest relationships will falter under the weight of this world.

If you are already believers, we encourage you to examine your relationship through the lens of Scripture. Are you both committed to purity, honoring God with your bodies and your hearts? The Bible is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). If there has been sexual sin, repentance and accountability are essential. God’s grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore, but we must walk in obedience to His commands.

We also pray for wisdom as you consider the future. If marriage is your goal, seek God’s will together, praying, fasting, and seeking counsel from mature believers. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what communion does light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If one of you does not yet know Christ, we urge you to prioritize evangelism over romance, for a marriage built on anything less than shared faith in Jesus will struggle to withstand life’s storms.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up ### and their relationship to You. Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to Yourself first and foremost. Let Your Holy Spirit convict, comfort, and guide them in all things. Father, if there is any sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Create in them clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

We pray for their love to be a reflection of Your love, patient, kind, not self-seeking, but always hoping, always persevering (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Guard their hearts against temptation, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). If marriage is Your will for them, prepare them individually and together to be a godly husband and wife, honoring You in all they do.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, lust, or worldly influence that seeks to pull them away from Your perfect plan. Strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer life, and let them be a testimony of Your grace to those around them. May their lives bring glory to Your name, now and always.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a local church where you can grow in your faith, find accountability, and receive biblical teaching on relationships and marriage. Surround yourselves with believers who will pray for you and speak truth into your lives. Remember, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we in prayer.

Thank you for letting us pray with you and . It means a lot that you want Christ to be at the center of your lives and your love for each other, we hear that desire and we are glad to stand with you in it.

Wanting Him in the center is a daily choice more than a single moment, and it helps to have a simple rhythm you can both keep. One thing that has helped many couples is to set aside a few minutes at the same time each day to pray together out loud, even briefly, and to ask each other honestly how you are doing walking with the Lord. If you have a pastor or a mature couple you both trust, inviting them to check in with you now and then can also give you steady encouragement and wisdom as you grow together.

We are praying for you both in the days ahead, for peace in your homes, for patience and kindness toward each other, and for clear direction as you seek to honor the Lord in how you love one another.

Father, we lift up these two to You. Draw each of them closer to Yourself and help them to seek You first. Give them wisdom, humility, and grace for one another, and lead their lives and their relationship according to Your good will. Keep them close to You and to Your people. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a good thing that you desire Christ to be in the center, for where He is not first, nothing can be rightly ordered. To have Christ in the center is not to add Him to a life or to a love already formed after our own wishes, but to be directed by the Lord into the love of God and into the patience of Christ, so that He Himself reigns and rules the heart.

The love of Christ to you must be personal and saving before it can be the pattern for any other love. Scripture speaks of Him who loved me and gave Himself for me. That is the foundation. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His blood and righteousness, and every soul must come to Him for forgiveness, feeling deeply its own sin and need, and then knowing that boundless love which passes knowledge. When that love is shed abroad in the heart, it takes away the love of sin and implants a new nature, and it becomes the transfiguring power that makes holiness desirable. We love Him because He first loved us, and that love, willingly and joyfully given, is what makes obedience not a burden but a delight.

If Christ is truly to be in the center of your lives and of your love for one another, then your relationship must be brought under His Word and conformed to His holy design. God has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He has reserved the union of bodies and the sharing of a home in that intimate sense to belong within that covenant alone. Love that honors Christ will therefore seek purity before marriage and fidelity within it, and will not ask God to bless what His Word calls away from. To put Christ first will mean to deny yourselves where needed, to flee temptation, to walk in chastity and self control, and to seek counsel and accountability in the church, that your love may be proved to be real love by its obedience.

I will pray for you both as you have asked, and I pray in this way, that the Lord would draw each of you into a deeper knowledge of His own love, that you would know more of Him by meditation and faith, and appropriate a whole Christ for yourselves. I pray that He would give you a deep sense of sin and a burning love to Christ that shows itself in every act of devotion, that He would cleanse you in the precious blood, and direct your hearts into holiness. I pray that He would grant you wisdom to order your relationship according to His Word, with patience and purity, and that if it be His will to lead you into the covenant of marriage, you may enter it in the Lord and for His glory, and if not, that He would give grace to walk in His way with contentment. May He make you to love Him with all your heart and soul and strength, and out of that love to love one another rightly.

Seek Him together in the Scriptures and in prayer, and apart in secret fellowship with Him, for if you never get alone with Christ you will remain strangers to His love. Let nothing be between you and Him but love, and let that love rule all that is between you.

Thank you for sharing this request and for wanting Christ to be at the center of your lives. We are praying for both of you.

We pray that the Lord will draw each of you closer to Himself through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for it is only through Him that we have salvation and reconciliation with God. To have Christ at the center means more than warm affection. It means loving Him above all else, submitting your lives and your choices to Him, and desiring to do all things to the glory of God.

We are praying that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent and be sincere and blameless before Him. Scripture teaches that there is a love that is according to Christ Jesus, and that love seeks what is holy, patient, and pure. It does not simply follow feeling, but seeks to honor God and to do what is pleasing to Him.

So we pray that God will give you wisdom and clarity about your relationship, that you will seek His will together with humility, pursue purity, and honor His design for love and for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Whether He leads you toward that covenant or in another direction, we pray you will follow Him with whole hearts and glorify Him in your bodies and in your lives.

May God grant you patience and comfort, help you to love one another as members of His body should, and guide you to the everlasting good things He has prepared for those who love Him. We ask this by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your desire to put Christ in the center of your lives and your relationship is the right and most important desire you can have, and I am glad you shared it for prayer.

To have Christ in the center means more than adding Him to what you are already doing. Scripture says that when we come to faith in Jesus we are crucified with Him. The old self centered life dies, and a new life begins with Christ enthroned in the heart. It is no longer a legal relationship where we try to earn standing before God, but a loving relationship where we are joined to Him. That changes our motivation. We are not free to live for our own desires, we are now bound by a greater law, the law of love for Jesus. When He is truly at the center, the natural result is fruit in our lives, love with its companions of joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness and self control, because we are abiding in Him.

That love is important to understand rightly. The world often presents love as feeling or passion or physical desire, but the love God shows us is very different. God proved His love not by words alone but by the cross, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us and became a sacrifice for our sins. That is agape love, and Scripture says everyone who knows God will begin to show that same kind of love. It suffers long and is kind, it does not envy or boast, it is not self seeking or easily provoked, it bears all things and hopes all things and never fails. It is other centered, not self centered. In a relationship, that means seeking to please Christ first and to serve and honor the other person above yourself, walking in love as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us, and walking in light rather than in the darkness of the world's ideas about love.

Scripture also gives us the picture of Christ and His church as a bridegroom and bride. It is a picture of deep, personal, faithful love. Jesus desires that kind of loving fellowship with each of you individually before you can have it together. The Apostle Paul prayed that believers would come to know the breadth and length and depth and height of the love of Christ, which is greater than we can fully comprehend. Remember that first love when you first came to Christ, that excitement of being forgiven and cleansed and received as His own, and keep returning to it. As each of you grows in that personal love for Jesus, your love for one another will be shaped by His love.

So I will pray for you both in this way, asking God to make your lives and your relationship conform to His good design. The Bible teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and sharing a home as a couple belong within that covenant. True love does not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but asks Him to lead us into what honors Him. If you are pursuing marriage, pray that God will help you walk in purity, in light, and in wisdom, encouraging one another toward holiness. If this relationship is not according to His will, pray that He will make that clear and give you grace to follow Him.

Let me pray for you.

Father, thank You for Your love shown at the cross through Jesus Christ. Thank You that through faith in Him our sins are washed away and we are made new. I lift up these two lives to You. Draw each one into a deeper, personal walk with Jesus, that He would be enthroned in their hearts and that they would seek to please Him above all else. Fill them with Your Spirit so that the fruit of love, joy, peace and patience would grow in them. Teach them to love one another with Your agape love, not self seeking but kind, patient, and pure. Give them wisdom and discernment to walk in light and to honor You in their relationship, to remain pure and to follow Your design for love and marriage. If it is Your will for them to continue together, make their relationship a reflection of Christ and the church, faithful and holy. If not, lead them gently in the path You have for each of them. Keep Christ at the very center of all they do. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

May you continue to abide in Him, and may His love constrain and guide you in every decision.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you and your loved one before the Lord, praying for your lives and for your love relationship and especially that Christ would be at the center of it all.

We pray that the Lord will draw you both closer to Himself and closer to one another, that He will be the foundation of your love and guide every step you take together. We ask that He fill your relationship with grace, patience, purity and selfless love, and we claim the promise in Eccl 4:12 that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken and the truth in Col 3:14 that love binds all things together in perfect unity.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
