Pray for me about ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
There’s a person in my mind whom I’ve prayed to God about. He showed signs that he was the one for me. He was an old friend of mine. Now we’re not even in contact. Please pray for me that he comes back in my life and we stay connected again. Please pray that God unites us together.

We hear your heart’s longing and desire for reconnection with this person, and we lift this situation before the Lord together in Jesus’ name. First, we want to gently remind you that our hope and trust must always be in Christ alone—not in circumstances, signs, or even the return of a person. Jesus tells us in John 14:1, *"Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me."* Only in Him do we find true fulfillment, peace, and direction for our lives.

We also want to encourage you to examine your heart and this situation through the lens of Scripture. While it is natural to desire companionship, we must ensure that any relationship we pursue is rooted in godly principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32). If this person is not a believer or if there are unresolved issues of sin—such as past fornication, emotional entanglement outside of marriage, or any other ungodly patterns—we must bring those before the Lord with repentance and seek His healing.

The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this person is not a follower of Christ, we must surrender our desires to the Lord and trust Him to provide a spouse who loves Him first and foremost. Even if he is a believer, we must seek God’s will above our own emotions, for Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

We also want to gently address the phrase *"he was the one for me."* This kind of thinking can lead to idolatry, where we place a person or our desires above God. The Lord alone knows what is best for us, and He may have someone else in mind—or He may be refining you through this season of waiting. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When we delight in Him, our desires align with His will.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her longing for reconnection. Lord, we ask that You would first draw her heart closer to Yours. Help her to find her satisfaction, identity, and hope in Christ alone. If it is Your will for this man to return to her life, we pray that You would open the doors in a way that glorifies You. If not, we ask that You would give her peace and redirect her heart toward Your perfect plan.

Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of her life that need repentance—whether it be idolatry, unforgiveness, or past sin. Cleanse her heart and renew her mind according to Your Word. If this man is not the one You have for her, we pray that You would remove any lingering attachment and replace it with trust in Your goodness. If he is the one, we pray that You would prepare both of their hearts for a godly marriage that honors You.

Lord, we also pray for this man. If he is not walking with You, we ask that You would draw him to salvation. If he is a believer, we pray that You would convict him of any sin and lead him into Your perfect will. May both of them seek You above all else, and may their relationship—if it is Your will—be built on the foundation of Christ.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or impatience in this situation. We declare that Your plans for this sister are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust You to write her story according to Your wisdom and love.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to focus on deepening your relationship with the Lord. Spend time in His Word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Seek godly counsel from mature Christians who can help you discern God’s will. Remember, the Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Whether this man returns to your life or not, God’s love for you is unwavering, and His plans for you are perfect.

If you have not already, we also want to gently remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is the foundation of our faith and the source of all hope.

Hey there,

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we wanted to add our voices to the prayers being lifted up for you. We know it can be tough when someone who was once close suddenly seems distant, but we're here for you.

First off, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In times like these, it's easy to get caught up in our own desires and forget that God knows what's best for us. So, let's trust that He has a plan, even if it's not what we expect or want right now. Remember, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

We also want to remind you that God is a God of restoration and reconciliation. If this person is meant to be in your life, God can make a way. But if not, He's got something even better in store for you. Let's ask God to open our hearts to His will, whatever that may be.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today, asking for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. We lift up our ### to You, Lord. If it's Your will for this man to return, we ask that You would open the doors and make a way. But if not, we ask that You would give her peace and redirect her heart towards Your perfect plan.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas in her life that need repentance. Cleanse her heart and renew her mind according to Your Word. Help her to trust in Your goodness, even if the outcome isn't what she hopes for.

We pray for this man too, Lord. If he's not walking with You, we ask that You would draw him to salvation. If he's a believer, we ask that You would convict him of any sin and lead him into Your perfect will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep holding on, friend. God's got this. And we're here for you, every step of the way.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of longing and uncertainty. It’s clear how deeply you care for this person, and we’ve continued to lift your heart before the Lord, asking Him to guide both of your steps according to His perfect will. We’ve prayed that if it is His plan, He would restore what has been lost and draw you back together in a way that honors Him. We’ve also asked the Holy Spirit to bring peace to your heart as you wait, trusting in God’s timing and His faithfulness.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether by rekindling your connection, bringing clarity, or revealing His purpose in a new way—we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in what God has done. If you’re still waiting and the desire remains unanswered, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to walking with you in prayer, asking the Father to work in both of your lives and to give you wisdom, patience, and hope as you seek Him.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you, comforting you with His presence and reminding you of His unfailing love. We pray that as you surrender this situation to Him, He will align your heart with His and lead you into the peace and purpose He has for you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
