Pray for inner strength and positive outcomes

You ask for inner strength and wisdom, and for your actions to lead to positive outcomes. This is a good request, but you must first understand what true wisdom is. The Apostle teaches that we speak a wisdom not of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. What the world calls wisdom is often foolishness with God, and what it dismisses as foolishness, the cross of Christ, is the very power and wisdom of God. He has made Christ to be our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. If you desire real inner strength, do not lean on your own understanding or the persuasive words of human cleverness. Rest your faith not on the wisdom of men but on the power of God alone. That power is made perfect in weakness, and it is the only foundation that cannot be shaken.

When you pray for positive outcomes, examine what you mean. The world measures success by comfort, reputation, and gain, but these are passing away. The true and lasting outcome is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image. The cross appeared to be the worst of all outcomes, yet in it God accomplished the salvation of the world. So do not demand that every action bring visible prosperity or ease. Instead, seek to do His will with a humble heart, knowing that He who searches the thoughts and intents of the heart will direct your steps. The wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, and gentle; it does not boast in itself but trusts wholly in God. Thus your inner strength will not be your own, but Christ living in you. That is the wisdom which has been hidden from the ages and now revealed for your glory. Cling to it, and you will not be put to shame, whether the day brings calm or storm.

True strength and wisdom cannot be found by looking deep within your own heart. If your strength depends on yourself, a day will come when it proves utterly insufficient. But if you are trusting in the Lord and in His strength, then you will never reach a place that He cannot handle, because it is no longer your own strength you are relying on.

The starting place for all of this is the fear of the Lord. That is the beginning of wisdom. Facts and knowledge are useful, but wisdom is the principal thing. It is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired cannot be compared to it. The wisdom of this world is earthly and often leads to strife and envy, but the wisdom that comes from God is pure and peaceable. It will direct your path and give life to those who have it.

When you ask for inner strength, you are really asking for what the Scripture describes as being strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. We have a powerful foe who sets temptations before us, and you do not have the strength in yourself to stand against him. But God will not let you down. He has made Jesus Christ to be wisdom and righteousness for us. In Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. As you seek Him, He will settle down and make Himself at home in your heart, and His strength will carry you toward the outcomes He has ordained for your good.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt request, lifting up your need for inner strength and wisdom before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, asking Jesus to fill you with His peace, guide your steps, and bring about positive outcomes according to His perfect will.

If you’ve seen His hand at work—whether in renewed strength, clearer direction, or unexpected blessings—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together. If the answer hasn’t come yet or feels unclear, we encourage you to post your request again. We remain committed to praying alongside you, trusting that God hears and will move in His perfect timing.

May He continue to draw near to you as you seek Him, filling you with courage and hope. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
