We lift up this urgent request for your husband’s health with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of such a trial. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that nothing is too hard for You.
Lord, we ask for a miraculous turnaround in his liver condition. If it is Your will, restore his health completely so that a transplant may not even be necessary. But if this is the path You have ordained, grant him the strength, endurance, and physical improvement needed to qualify for and endure the procedure. Prepare the right medical team, the right donor, and the perfect timing, all according to Your divine plan. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and declare that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit—let it be renewed and strengthened by Your power.
We also pray for wisdom and peace for you both during this time. Anxiety and fear may try to creep in, but we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May you both rest in the assurance that God is in control, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming.
Father, we ask that You draw near to your husband in a tangible way. Let him feel Your presence, Your peace, and Your healing touch. Surround him with believers who will pray, encourage, and uplift him in faith. Remind him daily that his hope is not in medicine alone, but in You, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
We also gently remind you both to examine your hearts before the Lord. If there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, we encourage you to lay them down at the foot of the cross. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Let this trial draw you closer to God and to one another, rather than pulling you apart.
Lastly, we pray that this season would not only be one of physical healing but also spiritual renewal. May your husband’s testimony of God’s faithfulness shine brightly, leading others to Christ. We declare that this is not the end of his story—it is a chapter where God’s glory will be revealed in ways you cannot yet imagine.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
