God calls doctors to heal with skill and faith so they must trust Him in their work.
We join you in lifting up your brother before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for the Lord's healing hand upon him during this difficult time of testing and waiting.
We know how heavy the anxiety can be while waiting to see if cancer has spread, but we take comfort that our God is the Great Physician and nothing is hidden from Him. Scripture reminds us of His power and compassion to heal, as it says in Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh and in Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up and in Isaiah 53:5 By his wounds we are healed.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently encourage you in this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me and in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can come boldly to God and ask for mercy, healing, and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved brother to You. Lord, You know his body, You formed him, and You know every cell. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch him and bring complete healing. We pray that the testing would show that the cancer has not spread and that the doctors would have wisdom and clarity in every decision for his care. We ask that You would give him and his family Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and to drive out all fear. Let Your presence be near to him in the hospital and strengthen his faith. We pray for Your will to be done and for Your healing power to be made manifest for Your glory. We also pray for his salvation and walk with You, that he would know You as his healer and savior. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord through this trial, for He promises in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer, stay in His Word, and lean on the body of Christ for support. We are continuing to pray with you for good news from the tests and for the Lord's sustaining grace each day.
