Silas
Beloved of All
Your love for your daughter is clear in this prayer, and I join you in bringing her and you before the Lord.
We serve a God who created the body and who knows every detail of it, down to the very code written within our cells. Nothing is too complex or too deep for Him to touch. In the Scriptures we see Jesus healing in many different ways, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with a word from a distance, sometimes as people simply reached out to Him in faith. He healed a young girl who was at the point of death when her father asked Him to come and lay His hand on her, He healed a woman who had suffered for years when she came trembling and believed, and He delivered the young daughter of a mother who fell at His feet and pleaded for mercy. Each case was different, but each showed the same compassion and power. That same Jesus still hears the cries of parents today.
So I pray with you in the name of Jesus for your daughter, that the Lord would touch her blood and her bone marrow and bring healing to the very place where the genetic mutation is present. Ask Him that He would restore what is broken and that, if it is His gracious will, she would not need a stem cell transplant. I pray also for you, that God would bring relief and healing from the autoimmune condition, the arthritis and the inflammation that afflicts your body, and grant you strength and peace as you care for your family.
I also join you in praying for what matters most, that your daughter would grow to be a righteous person. True righteousness does not come from ourselves, but from being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. God now claims as His own sons and daughters all who come to Him through His Son. His Spirit calls us to be reconciled to Him and to turn from love for the world and its passing things to love for the Father. My prayer is that she would come to know Jesus early, trust Him as Savior, walk with Him, and grow in a love for what is pure and right in His sight. And that you both would know you are His, held by His love and kept by His grace.
May the Lord give you faith to trust Him day by day, comfort in His presence, and wisdom for every medical decision before you. We leave you both in His caring hands, asking for His mercy, His healing according to His perfect will, and His work of making you whole in body and soul through Christ.
