We lift up this beloved one before the Lord, asking for His divine healing and strength after this recent health trial. The Word of God assures us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is the Great Physician who restores both body and soul.
It is concerning that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation come. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only by the authority of Jesus that we approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray for complete restoration. If this individual does not yet know Christ as Savior, we urge them to turn to Him in faith, for He alone holds the power over life and death.
We also encourage this person to seek godly wisdom in managing their health—through proper rest, nourishment, and medical care as the Lord provides. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and strength to your bones."* Let them trust in the Lord’s timing, knowing that even in weakness, His grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious one who has faced illness and weakness. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You touch their body with Your restoring power. Strengthen their blood, renew their mind, and grant them full recovery from the effects of this stroke and anemia. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If this person does not yet know You, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw them to the foot of the cross, where true healing—both physical and spiritual—is found. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their Savior, for without faith in Him, there is no lasting hope.
We also pray for their family and caregivers, that they would be filled with Your wisdom and compassion as they support their loved one. May this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others would see Your work and glorify Your name.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
