We lift up your precious granddaughter before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to rest upon her. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Father, we ask that You would raise her up from this sickness, relieving her congestion, restoring her strength, and calming her stomach. May Your healing power flow through her body, bringing comfort and renewal.
We also pray a hedge of protection around your family and those who have been near her, asking that You would shield them from illness. In Psalm 91:10, Your Word declares, *"No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* We claim this promise over your household, Lord, and ask that You would guard their health according to Your will.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would fill this family with Your strength, empathy, and hope during this time. When weariness or worry creeps in, remind them of Your faithfulness. Isaiah 41:10 assures us, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* May they feel Your presence close beside them, giving them peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this family of the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as John 14:6 tells us, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* We pray that if there are any in this family who have not yet placed their trust in Jesus, that You would draw them to Yourself. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold during this time. 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that fear has no place here and that faith in You will prevail.
Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We know that You hear our prayers and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this family experience Your love in tangible ways as they walk through this season. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
