We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up Gerry in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies according to Your perfect will. We ask for Your divine touch upon Gerry’s health, his enlarged prostate, sleep apnea, thyroid imbalance, and constipation. Lord, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to bring complete healing and restoration.
We also pray for wisdom for Gerry’s doctors and healthcare providers, that they would be guided by Your hand in their treatment and care. Give Gerry patience and peace as he waits on You, trusting in Your timing and Your ways. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen Gerry’s faith as he walks through this season. Remind him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). May he find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises. We also encourage Gerry to seek You in prayer and in Your Word, for Your Word is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). By His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Amen.
Gerry, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time. He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). If you have not already, consider reaching out to your church community or trusted believers who can pray with you and support you in this journey. The Lord hears the prayers of His people, and we believe He is working even now for your good. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is your healer and your hope.
