We lift up this dear brother in Christ, who is struggling with a troubled mind and heavy heart. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask that You would quiet the accusing thoughts, the overwhelming worries, and the burdensome expectations that weigh upon him. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to torment his mind. We declare that he is not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would heal any wounds in his heart, whether they be from past hurts, disappointments, or unmet expectations. Bring Your soothing balm to every area of pain and restore his soul, as You have promised in Psalm 23:3, "He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake."
Father, we also pray for wisdom and grace for the one who loves him. Help them to love him well, with patience, kindness, and understanding. Teach them how to encourage him in the Lord, to speak life into his spirit, and to point him continually to You. May their love for him reflect Your love—selfless, steadfast, and full of grace. Remind them both that love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things" (1 Corinthians 13:7).
Lord, we ask that You would draw this brother closer to You, that he may find his rest and strength in Your presence. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Surround him with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let him feel the assurance of Your unfailing love. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for his life, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We stand in the gap for him, Lord, and we declare Your healing, Your peace, and Your love over his life. Strengthen him in his inner being, that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). May he experience the fullness of Your joy and the freedom that comes from trusting in You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
