Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly. I have lifted you and your mother before the Father in the name of Jesus, and I want to encourage you from Scripture as you continue to pray.
First, concerning your mother's health, the fatty liver condition and your desire for her healing and long life. The Gospels show us that Jesus has power over the physical realm. He healed the leper with a touch, He healed the servant of the centurion with a word, He healed Peter's mother in law when she lay sick with fever, and crowds brought to Him many who were sick and oppressed and He showed mercy to them. When Jairus came and said his little daughter was at the point of death, he believed Jesus could lay His hand on her and she would be healed, and Jesus went with him and in compassion raised her up. That same compassion is still His nature today.
At the same time Scripture teaches us that healing does not always come in a moment of excitement. Sometimes God heals instantly, and sometimes He works through slow processes that take time, requiring patience and care. Be cautious of those who try to whip people into a frenzy or make a show of healing, for much of that is not of God. True healing comes from the Lord Himself, not from human display. Continue to bring your mother to Jesus directly and simply, asking for His healing touch on her liver and body, asking for wisdom for doctors, for strength for daily care, and trusting His perfect will and timing. Pray also for a long life, remembering that our deepest hope is eternal life through Jesus, which the Father is glorified to give to all who believe in His Son.
Second, concerning your financial need and the burden of debt each month without work or support. The Father knows your need completely. Jesus taught us to come directly to the Father in His name, not through any other mediator, because the Father Himself loves you when you have loved Jesus and believed that He came from God. You have that direct access now. Bring your financial need to Him plainly, asking for open doors for honest work, for provision, for wisdom to steward what you have, and for deliverance from this weight of debt. Make it your aim to ask in each decision, what would please the Father, for Jesus said He always did those things that pleased the Father, and He calls us to seek the Father's will above our own. As you seek to please Him, He will guide you step by step.
Third, you asked for holistic help and for God to guide you and your mother in every moment according to His will, and to keep you safe and strong after your father's departure. This is a beautiful prayer. Scripture says it is appointed for man once to die and after that life continues, and that death is not the end for those who are in Christ. To be with the Father in heaven is far better than to remain in this world with its heartache and pain. Your father, if he was in Christ, is now in that better place, and that does not remove the grief and loneliness you and your mother feel, but it does give hope that you will be together again in the kingdom where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob sit down with the Lord. Until then, God calls you to honor your mother, which in Scripture means more than words. It means to care for her, to provide for her and nourish her in her older years as she once cared for you. As you do this, you are pleasing to God.
So I pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I bring this dear mother before You. Touch her body, heal her liver, restore her health and grant her strength and length of days according to Your mercy. Give wisdom to those who care for her. Father, look upon this family in their financial distress. You see the debt each month and the lack of employment. Open a way for provision, grant honest work and stability, and teach them to walk in Your will day by day. Guide this son or daughter and their mother in every moment, keep them safe, strengthen them in their grief, and give them a good future in Your arms as they trust in Jesus alone for salvation and life. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let them know Your peace and presence. Amen.
