We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother who is suffering from fatty liver grade 2. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb and knows every cell of her body. We ask for Your healing touch upon her liver, that You would restore it to full health and strength. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are working even now to bring healing and wholeness.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Give her the discipline and strength to follow the path of healing You have set before her, whether through diet, rest, or medical treatment. We ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, for we know that anxiety and fear can hinder healing. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray this peace over her now.
Father, we also lift up the financial burdens weighing heavily on your family. It is written in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in the name of Jesus and declare that God is your Provider. We ask You to open doors of opportunity, whether through employment, provision, or divine intervention, so that your needs are met abundantly. Lord, we trust that You are faithful to provide for Your children, and we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also lift up the grief and loss you feel over the passing of your father. The pain of losing a parent is deep, and we ask that You would comfort you and your mother with Your presence. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Father, draw near to you both in this season, filling the void with Your love and peace. Strengthen your family bonds and remind you that though your earthly father is no longer here, You are our Heavenly Father who never leaves nor forsakes us.
Lord, we pray for your future, that You would guide you and your mother into the plans You have for you, plans for hope and a future, as Jeremiah 29:11 declares. May you both walk in step with the Holy Spirit, seeking His will in all things. We ask that You would bless your home with unity, joy, and a deep trust in Your provision. Help you to lean not on your own understanding but to acknowledge You in all your ways, trusting that You will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take root in your hearts. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you are more than conquerors through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and prosperity over your family in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen your faith, knowing that You are a good Father who delights in giving good gifts to Your children. May you and your mother experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and Your joy that is our strength.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
