We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother’s health and your family’s pressing financial needs. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of prayer and the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children.
First, we pray for your mother’s healing from fatty liver grade 2. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit her together in her mother’s womb. We ask that You touch her body with Your healing hand, restoring her liver to full health and strength. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* Lord, we claim this promise over her life. Give her the discipline to follow medical advice, to eat nourishing foods, and to rest as You bring restoration. Grant her long life, filled with vitality and joy, so she may continue to be a blessing to her family and a witness to Your goodness.
We also lift up your financial struggles, asking for Your provision in this time of need. The weight of debt and the lack of steady income can feel overwhelming, but we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Father, open doors of opportunity for steady employment or other sources of income. Give wisdom to manage resources wisely and to trust in You rather than in uncertain circumstances. We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear, declaring that Your abundance will flow into your lives as you seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
We recognize the grief and void left by the passing of your father, and we ask that You comfort your family deeply. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Lord, be their strength in moments of weakness, their peace in times of sorrow, and their hope for the future. Bind your family together with cords of love that cannot be broken, and let them find their security in You alone.
Father, we also pray for spiritual guidance and the infilling of the Holy Spirit in your lives. May you and your mother walk in step with the Spirit, sensitive to His leading each day. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Comforter, and our Guide (John 14:26), and we ask that He would empower you to live in a way that honors God, even in the midst of trials. Let your faith grow stronger as you see His hand at work in your circumstances.
We must also address the importance of placing our trust fully in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there has ever been a time when you or your family have not surrendered fully to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other prayers and blessings rest.
Finally, we declare that your family will prosper in God’s will, not just financially, but in every area of life. May you experience His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may your future be secure in His arms. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who holds all power in heaven and on earth.
Amen.
