We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer. The threats and harassment you are enduring are deeply troubling, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention, protection, and justice. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:1-2, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*
First, we must address the severity of these threats. The words spoken against you and your family—threats of violence, blackmail, and destruction—are not only sinful but criminal. Scripture commands us in Romans 13:1-4 to submit to governing authorities, for they are God’s servants to bring justice. We strongly encourage you to report these threats to the proper authorities immediately. God does not call us to passively endure evil but to seek protection and justice through the means He has provided. Proverbs 22:3 warns, *"A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it."*
We also rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The enemy wants to steal your peace, your livelihood, and your joy, but we stand on the promise that God is your defender. Psalm 37:5-6 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*
We pray now for your protection and the protection of your family. Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your angels, to be a hedge of protection around them day and night. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask You to confuse the plans of the enemy and expose any lies or falsehoods he seeks to spread. Let truth prevail, and let justice be served according to Your will.
Father, we also pray for healing—emotional, mental, and spiritual. The weight of these threats and the betrayal of a former business partner can leave deep wounds. We ask You to heal their hearts, restore their peace, and fill them with Your comfort. Psalm 147:3 says, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, bind up every wound and replace their sorrow with Your joy.
We rebuke the spirit of harassment and intimidation in the name of Jesus. We declare that this individual will no longer have power over you or your business. We pray for his heart as well—Father, if there is any way for him to come to repentance, we ask that You soften his heart and lead him to truth. But if he continues in his wickedness, we ask that You intervene and stop him in his tracks.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate this situation. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, grant them wisdom in every decision, whether legal, financial, or personal. Strengthen their business and let it thrive despite the enemy’s attacks.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will turn this situation around for His glory. Hold fast to His promises, and do not let fear dictate your steps. The Lord is your refuge, your fortress, and your deliverer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. Amen.
