Beloved
An incident took place at work today. I work at an ###. I usually work with children who are infants or 1 years old. Today I was asked to take coverage of a 2 year old room because one of the teachers was not there. I did not really feel comfortable with it because I was just recently removed from the 2 year old room because that age group was not working well for me. I started working with infants and 1 year olds and it was working well. I did ok in the 2 year old room today all the way up until 3pm. A Child got bit in by another child. The child was right next to me and it happen so fast that I could not catch it. So now the administration is blaming me and they sent me home and they told me they will get back to me on Monday Morning. They said because this is a child whose parents have been complaining about their child getting hurt several times within the last few weeks and since she was under my care today they are asking me to go home. I never had a complaint with this parent about her child when I was working in that run on a regular. And now I am the one who becomes the last straw. I feel like I have been set up by my supervisor and her boss because they ask me to work with an age group that they knew I was struggling with. Pray that God extends grace. Pray that I am not fired from my job. I been with this school for 12 years. My husband and I just bought a new home, as well as trying to cover all expenses together. Plus my husbands job has not been consistent with paying him on time. Pray that God will also bless him with another job.

We hear your distress and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s grace and justice in this situation. It is clear that you have served faithfully for many years, and this sudden turn of events feels overwhelming, especially when you were placed in a role that was not the best fit for you. We pray that the Lord will make your innocence clear and that your supervisors will recognize the unfairness of holding you solely responsible for an incident that was beyond your control.

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Even when circumstances seem unjust, we must trust that God sees all and will work things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We also lift up your husband’s employment situation, asking the Lord to provide stability and timely pay, as He promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We must also address the spiritual aspect of this trial. When we face injustice, it is easy to harbor bitterness or resentment, but Scripture calls us to forgive and trust God’s justice. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that you will release any anger toward your supervisors and trust that God will defend you.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You on behalf of our sister. We ask that You extend Your grace and mercy in this situation. Lord, You know the truth of what happened, and we pray that You would reveal it to those in authority. Protect her job, Lord, and provide for her family’s needs. Give her peace in the midst of this uncertainty and strength to trust in Your provision. We also ask that You open doors of opportunity for her husband, that he may find steady and reliable work. Guard their hearts from fear and anxiety, reminding them that You are their Provider and Defender. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn this situation around for their good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to seek wise counsel if needed. This trial may be an opportunity for God to redirect you to a better path, whether within this school or elsewhere. Continue to walk in faith, knowing that the Lord is your strength and shield (Psalm 28:7). If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your heart, we urge you to release it to God, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore (1 John 1:9). Stand firm in the truth that God is for you, and no one can be against you when He is on your side (Romans 8:31).

We’re so sorry you were sent home under a cloud, especially after twelve years of faithful work. That long a history says something real about your character, and we hear the confusion in your words: you were placed back in a room everyone knew had been hard, and now you’re carrying the blame for a moment no one could have stopped. That stings, and it’s okay to feel set up. When job security suddenly vanishes, it’s not just a work problem, it’s a genuine crisis, and the anxiety you’re carrying about a new mortgage and your husband’s paycheck only makes it heavier.

While you wait for Monday, you don’t have to figure out everything at once. Right now the weight feels enormous because you’re holding both the job threat and the housing pressure together. Maybe give yourself permission to set the big, overwhelming “what if” aside for a day and instead look at just the next concrete thing: if finances feel tight this week, what is the one most pressing need? Narrowing it down can keep the fear from spiraling and help you and your husband make one small, clear next move together.

We’re asking God to step into all of it, your reputation, the conversation on Monday, the roof you just worked so hard to put over your head, and a steady door for your husband.

Jesus, we lift up this sister who gave twelve good years and now feels thrown aside. You see what really happened in that moment, and we ask for fair treatment from her supervisors and for truth to shine through whatever conversations come. Guard her job if it is right for her to stay, and give her peace in the waiting. For the new home they stepped into together, we ask for provision, steady, timely work for her husband, open doors no one can shut. Calm the racing thoughts and let them both sense You holding them steady. In Your name alone, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

That trial which has come upon you is not apart from the Lord’s purpose to make you still better. There is but one source of supply for Grace and that source is God Himself. He gives Grace and He gives more Grace, otherwise there would be none whatever among the sons of men. The incident took place, the child was bitten, the administration blames you, and you feel set up, yet He finds the way by which His Grace can come, and He directs the way of it, and the measure and manner of it, and He does it all in wisdom and prudence.

Remember, if the Grace of God prevents our affliction from driving us into sin, then Satan is defeated. Satan did not care what Job suffered, so long as he could make him sin. You stand now where human charge is laid against you, yet in this is the focus of God’s interposing Grace. The great self-sacrifice of God is the great victory of Divine Grace. You did not desire to be put among the two-year-olds; they knew you struggled, yet you went. And it is a blessed sign of the work of grace in the heart when a soul begins to consider God in the midst of such injustice. You cry, "Will He plead against me with His great power?" No, but He will put strength in you. You have asked for grace that you be not fired; but what if God intends by this very shaking to bring you burning grace for burning moments?

Consider this, you have been with the school for twelve years. Look back and see the preceding Grace, the preventive Grace, the restraining Grace that has kept you. It is impossible to say concerning the elect when the Grace of God begins to deal with them. You can tell when quickening Grace comes, but not when Grace itself began. That same Grace which planted you among the infants when the two-year-olds went ill, that same Grace which carries you now, is Free Grace, sovereign, unsought, unmerited. If He saves you from dismissal, it must be free grace alone. If the way opens, it will be because He gives more Grace, and crowns that Grace with glory too.

Yet mark this, Job had uttered rash challenges, thinking there was no mediator, wishing the rod removed. But when Jehovah spoke, Job bowed his head and repented of all his suspicions and mistrusts. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. That is the glory with which Grace covered him. And you, standing in this uncertainty, must yield not merely because you must, but because you trust. Say in your heart, "It is the Lord, let Him do what seems good to Him." You feel you have been made the last straw, but they who are in the covenant of grace find that storms are the triumph of His art, and Grace can steer the ship the better for tempestuous waves.

Your husband’s inconsistent pay, the new home, the weight of expenses, here again is the wilderness into which God plants the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the oil tree. No little Grace will He bestow, but endless Grace and boundless Grace. The Grace that poured in torrents from that pierced side is the same Grace that heaved and struggled convulsively for you in every earthly need. Sin did us untold damage, but Grace has given us more than sin ever took away. Rest on His Grace, and hope in His mercy. The eyes of Grace are the suns of the spiritual universe, and they shine even upon Monday morning and the word of the administration.

Do not, therefore, let the fear of man or the dread of loss drive you to despair. God gives His Grace freely in the most emphatic sense. His Sovereign Grace is of Himself, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. All along, from sin’s pit to Heaven’s gate, without a break, the whole road is paved with Divine Grace. Whether you stand in that classroom again or are sent another way, Grace shall put you on the right hand, Grace shall robe you about with Jesus’ righteousness, and Grace shall make you bold to stand where sinners tremble. May it be your happy lot to sail upon that sea of Grace, for fathom it you never can.

Your fear of losing your job and your reputation has laid hold of you, but you must not let it enslave you. He who is afraid of poverty or disgrace is yet in bondage, like one who dreads death all his life. But the Spirit given to us is not a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. You have been wronged, as you see it; yet I tell you, if you suffer this unjust blame with thanksgiving, you will receive a reward greater than if you had kept your place in peace.

For it is in your power to turn this loss into gain. Job lost everything, yet he blessed God; will you curse the day or fall into despair over a single threat to your income? Consider: the Lord gave you twelve years of work, and now He has permitted this trial. Will you not say, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, naked shall I return; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord”?

Do not hate your supervisors, for they are unknowingly procuring for you a crown. Forgive them, as Christ forgave His crucifiers. And do not fear poverty. Poverty does not make one wretched; only a weak mind does.

You have a new home and an unreliable income; but has God not always provided? Do not let the care of these things choke your faith. Stand firm in this trial. If you are dismissed, remember that the apostles rejoiced when they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

If you are kept, give glory to God. In all things, let your salt retain its savor, not being trodden under foot by fear of men. Grace is sufficient for you; only continue in faith, and do not be cut off by unbelief.
