Proverbs 14:31 reminds us, "He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors God." Your employer is called to treat you fairly, and if they cannot meet the market worth of your labor, it is not wrong to seek a position where your work is valued appropriately.
