(Amp.)Psm.39:7And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are in You. Lord, You are the answer to all his problems. Teach him how to look to You to understand what he needs is You, that You can heal his emotions so that he would stop clinging to people & look to You. I pray that You would cause him to get in Your living Word & renew his mind. Show him Your great salvation, in that You have given to those of us who give over all our desires to You, the nature, mind & Spirit of Christ. I pray for deliverance from the lies of Satan, so that he would find one day that he is content no matter what state he finds himself in as long as he is in You. I pray that he would understand like Jesus did, My Father is always with me & I am never alone. I pray that You would give him great fellowship & lasting friends when he no longer needs them more than he needs You. James 4 4You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God. 5Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love?(A) 6But He gives us more and more grace ([a]power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it).
