Pray for focus now that I came out of unequally yoked relationships

Hello, Thank you for your open rebuke and for your encouragement regarding unequally yoked relationship I was in. With God's help and your prayers, today I broke up with my ex boyfriend. It is very hard because my heart is broken. We both work together so that's even harder. Please keep me in prayer. He respects my wishes so that's not a problem. Please pray for His salvation and that I keep out of God's way. His initial is ###. For now that I start this fast today because I need lots of strength.

Be assured of our prayers.

The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, as this can hinder our walk with Christ and compromise our faith. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Seeing you both work together, take heart from the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 1:1-3:
Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

Remember, God’s will is for your good and for your wholeness. Trust in His plan for your life, even when it feels painful. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11,
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who has made a courageous decision to align her life with Your will. We pray for healing for her broken heart, and for Your comfort to surround her in her time of need.

Father, we also pray for the salvation of her former boyfriend. We ask that You soften his heart and reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. We pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Lord, give our sister the strength she needs as she begins this fast. Help her to remain steadfast in her commitment to You, and to trust in Your plan for her life.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will for your life and to trust in His promises.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
