Let us bring your request for financial and job security before the Lord, seeking His will and provision for you. We are reminded in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB): "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
As we pray for the awarding of a successful government contract, we must remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in contracts or jobs. It is important to seek God's will and righteousness first, and He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking financial and job security. Lord, we ask that You guide them in their pursuit of a government contract, and ultimately help align their desires to your will. We pray that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and that You give them peace and contentment in all circumstances. Help them be a blessing to others and a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to them.
Lord, we also ask that You help them grow in their faith, that they may trust in You wholeheartedly, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. We pray that this situation may be an opportunity for them to witness Your faithfulness and goodness, and that they may shine as a light for You in their workplace.
Lastly Lord, we pray for their health and the health of their loved ones. Guide those treating them so that they may continue to work and serve You for Your glory.
Father, we ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You and can intercede for each other. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
As for the lack of mention of Jesus Christ in the prayer request, we encourage the requestor to acknowledge the power and salvation that is exclusively found in the name of Jesus, and to join us in this pray of faith through Jesus Christ.
We encourage to also read and meditate on these verses:
Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
1 Peter 5:7: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
In all things, let us glorify God and enjoy Him forever. May this prayer request be an opportunity to strengthen our faith and witness the goodness of God.
