Beloved of All
Please grant my daughter, who is abroad, good health and the ability to call home every day.Please grant my youngest son the chance to graduate from university and find a job immediately.Please grant my family enough money each month to cover electricity, water, internet, and daily living expenses.

We lift your precious family before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith. Father, we thank You for the gift of family and the love that binds them together. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, trusting that You see every need and will provide in ways that glorify Your name.

For your daughter abroad, we pray earnestly for her health and safety. Lord, guard her body, mind, and spirit as she navigates life far from home. Give her the discipline and means to call home daily, that she may remain connected to her family and rooted in Your love. Remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her wherever she goes (Joshua 1:9). Strengthen her with Your peace and surround her with godly influences.

For your youngest son, we ask for Your favor as he approaches graduation. Lord, open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Grant him wisdom, diligence, and perseverance in his studies and in his job search. May he find meaningful work that honors You and provides for his needs. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness in his life.

For your family’s financial needs, we declare Your provision over them. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). We rebuke any spirit of lack or anxiety and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Lord, meet every need, electricity, water, internet, and daily living expenses, according to Your riches. Teach them to trust in You, not in uncertain riches, but in the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17). Help them to manage what You provide with wisdom and gratitude.

Father, we also pray for unity and strength within this family. May they lean on You and one another, especially in times of distance or uncertainty. Bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken (Colossians 3:14). Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and gratitude, where Your presence is felt and Your name is praised.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who holds all things together and through whom we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may they grow in faith and trust in You. Amen.

Our hearts go out to you as you carry these concerns for your family. It’s clear how deeply you love them, and we want you to know you’re not alone in praying these things.

We are especially asking God to watch over your daughter while she is so far from home, to guard her health and make those daily phone calls a steady thread of connection that eases your heart and reminds her she is held in love. For your youngest son, we’re lifting up his university journey and the transition into a job. We pray he crosses the finish line well and finds work that uses his gifts and provides for his future. And we’re bringing your monthly bills before God, the electricity, water, internet, and the simple daily needs that can feel heavy when they all stack up.

When so many practical needs gather, it can be hard not to carry the weight alone. Something that helps is to turn each worry into a quiet moment of trust. Maybe as you think of your daughter each day, you can pause and simply hand her over to God’s care right then, and do the same when you think of your son or sit down with your household expenses. It doesn’t change the circumstances instantly, but it changes your heart as you keep placing them in hands bigger than your own.

Let us pray briefly now: Father, we ask You to watch over this family. Cover the daughter abroad with good health and sustain that daily connection home. Help her son graduate and walk into the right job. Meet their financial needs each month, enough for every practical bill and daily provision. And fill this parent with a steady peace that comes from trusting You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of a parent for children and daily bread comes before the throne with a sound that is never strange in the ears of the Most High. He who hears the young ravens when they cry will not turn away from the plea of a mother or father whose heart is bound up with their offspring and their home.

You ask for your daughter abroad, that she may have health and the grace to call home each day. I see in this the tender thread of love that distance cannot sever. Yet do not let the shadow of fear fall too darkly upon this request. Our times are in His hand, and the child who is far from your sight is never for an instant removed from His. The telephone wire may be a small mercy, but the throne of grace is a far greater one. There you may meet her daily, and leave her in the care of Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps. And even if the call should not come as you wish, remember that a mother's grief and a mother's love are sacred things, and in such longing you may yet sin not, nor charge God foolishly.

As for your youngest son and his graduation, you do well to bring this before the Lord. But the question comes with weight: should it be according to your mind? The diploma and the immediate opening are things seen, which are but shadows. The great matter is that he be a child of God, a joint-heir with Christ. That is the only substance worth building upon. Many a man has found his university and his swift employment only to discover that birdlime abounds in prosperity as surely as in poverty. To die daily is to hold such hopes with a loose hand. Teach him to seek first the kingdom, and then if the degree comes and the job tarries, or the job comes and the degree must wait, he will be kept from sullen rebellion. A sullen child makes ten times more misery than the rod itself. Fall in with your Father’s will, and bid your son do the same.

Your request for the monthly sufficiency for electricity, water, internet, and the daily loaf is the cry of the creature to the Creator. This is not too small a matter to bring before the Lord who turns the captivity of His people. Yet reckon these things at their fit price. The counters a child plays with have only an imaginary value. If you have the Lord, you have all. But I am not so unfeeling as to dismiss this real need. The God who fed Job and gave him at last twice as much as he had before hears the cry of the needy. Lay hold upon Him. Let your intercessory prayer be joined with steadfast faith. Even earthly comforts often come most swiftly when we have learned first to pray for our offending friends and lost our selfishness in the act of blessing others. Whether He grants abundance or calls you to walk in straitness, the art of dying daily will be an equal benefit to your soul. Hold this world with a loose hand, and may He anoint you with fresh oil for each day's demand.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

You come asking prayer for your children and your household needs, and rightly so, for every good gift comes from above. But consider the woman in the Gospel who pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of His garment. She came with trembling and faith, and the Master did not merely grant her healing; He called her "daughter" and said, "Thy faith hath made thee whole." He gave her more than health, He bestowed a new kinship and a commendation that echoes through the ages. Do you seek only the daily call and the diploma and the coins to pay the bills? Seek first the faith that makes you a daughter or son of God, and these things will be added as He sees fit.

Let your daughter abroad know that her body's safety is in God's hands, but far more, her soul's soundness. A healthy soul is one that carries a sober and sound mind, the Spirit does not give a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. Encourage her not to measure her well-being by the frequency of a telephone call, but by the health of her communion with Christ. Pray that she be kept from the infections of the world far more than from bodily illness. And for your youngest son, you desire graduation and immediate employment. These are not evil requests, but consider how Paul taught: if any will not work, neither let him eat, and yet to those who have, "be not weary in well doing." Let your son labor diligently in his studies as unto the Lord, not as a means to an end only, but as a training in righteousness. And if the job does not appear at once, remember that the Cross itself is glory and honor, times of waiting and humiliation often shape a man more than prosperity. The Master endured a little lower than the angels for our sake, and we gain far more by bearing small disappointments nobly than by having every path smoothed.

As for the monthly bills, electricity, water, internet, the body needs these, but the soul needs the living water and the bread that comes down from heaven far more. You fret over daily living expenses, but the Deacon at the holy table cries out, "The holy things for the holy," reminding us that many who appear whole are sick with the scab of covetousness and anxiety. Seek the spiritual fountain first; come to it with a clean heart, and then entrust the rest to the Father who feeds the ravens. Often He provides through our own labor and through the kindness of brothers and sisters; often He withholds a little to sober us and cut off our superfluities. I join my prayers to yours, that He who supplies the Spirit in large measure and freed you from the law of sin and death will grant a sound mind to your whole household. Be of good cheer, and let your faith make you whole.
