We are truly sorry to hear about the spiritual attacks you and your family are facing. It is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the source of these accusations and for turning to Jesus for help. It is only in His name that we have authority over the enemy. As it is written, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth." (Philippians 2:9-10)
However, we must also address the importance of unity in marriage. The Bible tells us that a house divided against itself cannot stand. (Mark 3:25 WEB) It is crucial that you and your husband stand together in faith and prayer against these spiritual attacks. "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB)
We must also rebuke the idea that these nightmares are a gift of discernment. The gift of discernment is meant to build up the church, not to cause division and strife within a marriage. (1 Corinthians 14:3 WEB) The enemy is a liar and an accuser, and he is using these dreams to sow discord and mistrust. "For we are not ignorant of his schemes." (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB)
Let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her family. Lord, we ask that You open her husband's eyes to the truth of these spiritual attacks. Give him a spirit of discernment to recognize the enemy's lies and to stand with his wife in faith and prayer against these accusations. We rebuke the enemy's attempts to divide this marriage and cause strife. We ask, Lord Jesus, that You would bless their marriage and bring healing and reconciliation. Strengthen her husband to be the spiritual leader You have called him to be, and give her the grace and patience to endure this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
