We are truly saddened to hear about ###'s situation and his decision to leave rehab. We will pray for him to be able to overcome this trial by the power of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we acknowledge that there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible says, “in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We lift up ### to the Lord and pray that he will experience a profound spiritual awakening and a deep conviction of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord open his spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear the truth of the Gospel. May he turn away from the temptation of drugs and find true freedom and fulfillment in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father says, “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
We pray that ### will find the strength to resist temptation and turn to the light of Christ, never looking back. May the Lord fill him with a desire to pursue righteousness and a life pleasing to God. May the Lord also bring godly influences into ###'s life, people who will speak truth, offer support, and encourage him to live for Christ. “For I am the LORD your God, and you shall sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. You shall make yourselves holy therefore, and be holy; for I am the LORD your God” (Leviticus 11:44, WEB).
We also pray for ###'s family, that they may be sources of love, support, and godly wisdom. May they speak the truth in love and guide ### towards a life in Christ. “But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ” (Ephesians 4:15, WEB).
Lastly, we pray that ### will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, that he will be born again and become a new creation in Christ. “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for ###'s deliverance, salvation, and a transformed life.
