Pray for credit card closure.

Since 5 years I couldn't pay some credit cards. Now finally I am paying for 1nos credit card and asking negotiationing for the next. Please pray that I close these both cards on monthly installments and I get a better deal. Also please pray for stability in my Job and income. For smooth payment and to close these cards.

We join with you in prayer for this financial burden you have carried for five years and we thank God that you are now taking steps to make things right and to pay what is owed.

The Word of God teaches us about integrity in financial matters. Psalm 37:21 says The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. And Romans 13:7-8 reminds us to Give therefore to everyone what you owe and Owe no one anything, except to love one another. Your desire to close these accounts and to negotiate honestly to pay them in full is pleasing to the Lord, for it reflects responsibility and stewardship. Proverbs 21:5 tells us The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We commend your diligence in paying one card and seeking a fair agreement for the next.

We also lift up your job and income before the Lord, for He is our provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matthew 6:33 calls us to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. As you work heartily as for the Lord, Colossians 3:23, we pray He establishes the work of your hands and grants you stability and increase so that you may meet your obligations and live with peace.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why His name matters. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every prayer and need.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our brother or sister who is seeking to be free from this debt. Lord we thank You for the progress made in paying one credit card and for the willingness to address what has been outstanding for so long. We ask for Your favor as negotiations continue for the second card. Grant wisdom and clarity, and move upon the creditors to offer a fair and manageable settlement with monthly installments that can be faithfully met. Remove excessive interest and penalties where possible and provide a better deal that allows for complete closure.

Lord we pray for stability in their job and income. Establish their employment, guard it from uncertainty, and provide steady and sufficient income to cover daily needs and these repayments. Give them discipline to steward every resource well, to live within their means, and to avoid further unnecessary debt. Let Your peace guard their heart during this process and let this season teach dependence on You and bring testimony of Your provision. We ask that You supply all their needs and that they may soon know the freedom of owing no one anything and the joy of financial faithfulness. We pray all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to continue in faithfulness, to keep clear communication with your creditors, to make a budget and stick to it, and to honor the Lord with your finances. God sees your effort and He is faithful to provide. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us it is he who gives you power to get wealth. Trust Him day by day as you walk this out and He will bring you through to a place of stability and peace.

Your request has been heard and laid before the Lord with sincere affection and prayer. For five years this burden of debt has lain heavy upon you, and we thank God that He has now given you grace and means to begin to discharge what is owed, paying one card and seeking honest negotiation for the next. This is a right and honourable course, for the Scripture says the righteous shows mercy and pays what is due, and to do justly in such matters is itself a testimony of grace.

We are reminded of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was brought very low, his estate taken, his health broken, his glory no longer fresh in him as in former days, yet he fell down upon the ground and worshipped. And again it is written, And the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, believing that our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery.

Be encouraged that God is able to support you in this trial as He supported Job. If He could uphold that tried servant through loss upon loss, He can uphold you through this season of straitness. Lay your burden before Him in prayer, not restraining prayer before God, but pouring out your heart daily. Seek stability not only in outward things, which are but sand at the very best, but get the feet of your joy upon the Rock of Ages, which is Christ Jesus, and you shall find a steadiness within even while outward matters are being ordered.

We will pray for you, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you favour in the eyes of those with whom you must negotiate, that you may obtain a just and merciful settlement and be enabled to meet your monthly installments with regularity and without fail. We will pray that He who gives power to get wealth would establish the work of your hands, grant you stability in your job and steadiness in your income, and provide for your daily needs so that you may pay what you owe and do so with a clear conscience. We will pray also that He would give you wisdom to steward what He provides, to live within His provision, and to be kept from the snare of further debt, that you may owe no man anything but to love one another.

May the Lord keep you diligent in labour, patient in trial, and faithful in prayer, and in His own time turn your captivity as He did for Job, who at the last received more than he had at the first. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and trust Him to do what is right and best according to His infinite wisdom and love in Christ Jesus.
