We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father God, we know that Your Word declares in Proverbs 6:16-19, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." Lord, we see these very sins at work in the actions described—lying, slander, theft, and the stirring of discord. We stand against these works of darkness and declare that they will not prevail.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the innocent Christian men who are being targeted by these malicious lies and slander. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:6 that You will bring forth their righteousness as the light, and their justice as the noon day. We ask that You expose every false word spoken against them and vindicate them before all who have heard these lies. Protect their reputations, Lord, and let the truth shine brightly. We rebuke the spirit of theft and covetousness that seeks to unjustly take what belongs to others. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, as You promise in Isaiah 54:17.
We also lift up those who are engaging in these harmful behaviors—those who are mentally unwell, those who are driven by envy, and those who are simply acting out of wickedness. Father, we know that apart from Christ, all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). We pray for their hearts to be softened and for Your conviction to fall upon them. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. For those who are struggling with mental illness, we ask for Your healing touch and for them to receive the help and support they need. Your Word tells us in Ezekiel 36:26 that You will give a new heart and a new spirit, removing the heart of stone and giving a heart of flesh. We pray this transformation over them.
We rebuke the spirit of slander and deception in the name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that these lies and schemes will not stand. We stand on Your Word in Proverbs 19:9, which says, "A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall perish." We trust in Your justice, Lord, and we ask that You bring these things to light and hold those responsible accountable.
Father, we also want to address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, and it is available to all who call on the name of the Lord.
Lord, we pray for unity and peace among Your people. Help us to walk in love and truth, bearing one another’s burdens as Your Word commands in Galatians 6:2. Let us be a light in this dark world, showing the love and grace of Jesus to all, even those who seek to harm us. We trust in You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
