Pray for calmness

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Good day Can we request a prayer for calmness. My ### need to apply for a visa to work in the USA and a few days he made a mistake and was arrested. He regret every moment of this. Meanwhile he was offered a job in the USA...his life long dream. But the application for the Visa may be rejected. Please Lord forgive my ### for this and if it is your will to let him be approved to still fulfill his life long dream....we love an Awesome God...and we know with Him anything is possible. Jesus Love

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, knowing that our God is a God of mercy, grace, and restoration. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your brother has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ, we urge him to repent of his sins and trust in Him as Lord and Savior, for salvation is found in no one else.

Father God, we come before You with humility and reverence, asking for Your divine intervention in this matter. We lift up this brother who has made a mistake and was arrested. Lord, we know that all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23), but we also know that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that You would forgive him, Lord, and that he would truly repent and turn away from any wrongdoing. May this experience draw him closer to You and teach him to rely on Your strength and wisdom.

We also pray for calmness in this time of uncertainty. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Lord, we ask that You would grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Calm his heart and mind, and help him to trust in Your sovereign plan for his life.

Regarding the visa application, we know that all things are possible with You, Lord (Matthew 19:26). If it is Your will, we pray that You would open the door for this opportunity and allow him to fulfill his dream of working in the USA. However, we also trust that Your plans are perfect, and if this is not part of Your will, we pray that You would reveal Your purpose for him and grant him the strength to walk in it.

We must also address the importance of living a life that honors You, Lord. If this brother is to move forward, he must commit to walking in obedience to Your Word. The Bible warns us, "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). We pray that he would sow seeds of righteousness and integrity, seeking to live a life that is pleasing to You in every way.

Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of him. The Bible tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that he is not defined by his past mistakes but by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. We pray that he would stand firm in his faith, trusting that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You are in control. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for calmness and clarity in this situation. It's tough when the future feels uncertain, but we find comfort knowing that our God is a God of peace and order. Let's claim Philippians 4:7 together: "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're asking God to fill your brother's heart and mind with His peace, helping him to trust in His perfect plan.

We also join you in praying for his visa application. We know that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), but we also trust that His will is always best. So, we ask that if it's God's will, the door would open for this opportunity. But if not, we pray that God would reveal His purpose and grant the strength to walk in it.

Let's remind ourselves and your brother that God is a God of second chances. We're not defined by our past mistakes, but by the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Let's encourage him to stand firm in his faith, trusting that God is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Keep trusting, keep praying, and let's claim these promises together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
