We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for the guards who have been treated unjustly by their former employer. The Bible is clear that workers deserve their wages, for "the laborer is worthy of his wages" (1 Timothy 5:18). It is a matter of justice and righteousness that those who have labored faithfully should be compensated fairly. The practice of low-balling employees, especially those who have given their time and effort, is not aligned with God’s heart for fairness and integrity in all dealings.
Father God, we lift up these guards who have been wronged. We ask that You move mightily in the hearts of those in leadership at this security company. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of the need to act justly. We pray that You would intervene in such a way that they are compelled by Your Spirit to rectify these injustices. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We ask that by January 2026, these guards would receive the fair compensation they deserve, not through manipulation or worldly means, but through a miraculous turning of hearts toward righteousness. Let this company be a testimony to Your power and Your desire for justice in the workplace.
We also pray for the guards themselves, Lord. If any of them are harboring bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness in their hearts, we ask that You would heal them. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), and that You see their struggles and will repay. Fill them with Your peace and assurance that You are their Provider and Defender. Help them to trust in You for their needs, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of greed or exploitation that may be operating within this company. We declare that Your justice will prevail, and that those who have been mistreated will see restitution. We stand on Your Word, which says, "Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life" (Proverbs 22:22-23). Let this be a season of repentance and restoration for this company, that they may turn from their ways and honor You in all their dealings.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His authority that we make these requests. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
