We lift up this sister in Christ as she travels, asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His divine protection and wisdom. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that as she journeys, the Lord will guide her steps, keep her from all danger, and grant her discernment in every decision she makes. May He also provide for her needs, including the wooden owl you’ve requested—if it is His will—so that it may be available and obtained without difficulty.
Yet, we must gently address something important: while it is good to bring our needs before the Lord, we must always remember that our prayers are to be centered on His glory, His kingdom, and His will—not merely on material things or personal comforts. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let us always prioritize seeking Him above all else, trusting that He knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8).
We also notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*—and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the only path to the Father.
Father, we thank You for this sister and her heart to seek You in prayer. We ask that You bless her travels, protect her from all harm, and grant her wisdom. If it aligns with Your will, we pray that the wooden owl may be found and purchased without issue. But above all, Lord, we ask that You draw her—and all of us—closer to You, that our hearts may be fixed on Your kingdom and Your righteousness. May we never lose sight of the eternal in pursuit of the temporary. We ask this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
