We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these two precious souls who are enduring the intense pain of kidney stones. Father God, Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We stand on this promise, believing that You are near to them in their suffering and that You will bring them relief and healing.
Lord, we ask that You would dissolve these stones and ease their passage, granting them comfort and strength. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this healing for them, trusting in Your mercy and power. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom for their medical providers, that they would be guided by Your hand in treatment and care. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Father, we rebuke the pain and discomfort in the mighty name of Jesus. We command these stones to break apart and pass without further harm, for Your Word says in Matthew 18:18-19, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May these dear ones feel Your presence and love in a tangible way, and may they be drawn closer to You through this trial. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to do so. It is only through faith in Him that we receive eternal life and the assurance of God’s presence in every circumstance. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If they are struggling or have questions about salvation, we urge them to seek a Bible-believing church or reach out to fellow believers who can share the gospel with them. Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
