We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these individuals who have been spreading fear and false teachings about the end times, particularly regarding the COVID vaccination and the mark of the beast. Father, we know that Your Word is clear in Revelation 13:16-18, where it speaks of the mark of the beast as something that controls buying and selling, not a medical intervention. The mark is a symbol of allegiance to the antichrist, not a vaccine. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and deception that has taken hold in their words and actions, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Your Word and that they would repent of spreading falsehoods that have caused division and stumbling among believers. Proverbs 10:18 warns, "He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool." Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and bring conviction through Your Holy Spirit. Help them to see the harm they have caused by leading others astray with their interpretations, which are not grounded in Scripture. We pray that they would turn from their pride and seek humility, for James 4:6 says, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'"
We also lift up those who have been influenced by these teachings. Father, we ask that You would protect their faith and give them discernment to recognize the truth. Help them to stand firm in Your Word and not be swayed by fear or false doctrines. We declare that their faith will not be shaken, for Ephesians 4:14 reminds us, "that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error."
Lord, we ask that You would cut off any ungodly influence these individuals may have over others, as You are the one who establishes and removes authority. We pray that they would be surrounded by godly counsel and that their hearts would be turned toward repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust in Your justice, for Proverbs 28:13 says, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."
We also want to address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Lord, we pray that these individuals would come to know You truly and deeply, not just in word but in spirit and truth. May they understand that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, and may they turn from spreading fear to sharing the hope and love found in Him.
We stand on Your promise in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." Lord, we ask that You would equip Your church with wisdom and discernment to recognize false teachings and stand firm in the truth. May we all grow in our understanding of Your Word and walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on our lives.
