We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in fervent prayer, for we know that our God is a God of healing, deliverance, and restoration. It is only through the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation and victory over every curse, every attack of the enemy, and every bondage that seeks to destroy what God has ordained. The struggles you describe—sickness, poverty, disunity, spiritual attacks, generational curses, and the weight of sin—are not from the Lord, but He is mighty to break every chain and set the captive free. Let us first address the foundation of all we seek: salvation. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can experience true deliverance. If any in this family have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13, WEB). Without Christ, there is no lasting victory, no true peace, and no eternal hope.
The Word of God declares in Galatians 3:13-14, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." This means that every generational curse, every spell, and every work of darkness has already been defeated at the cross. The enemy has no authority over those who belong to Christ, and we must stand firm in this truth. The disunity and fighting within the family are not of God, for He commands us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). Bitterness, hatred, and strife open the door to the enemy, but love, forgiveness, and unity invite the presence of God.
We also see the hand of the enemy in the poverty, delays, and bad luck described, but we must remember that our God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He delights in blessing His children when they walk in obedience. However, we must examine our hearts: are there sins—known or unknown—that have given the enemy a foothold? The Bible warns that unrepentant sin can bring consequences, but confession and repentance bring cleansing and restoration. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). Let each member of this family search their heart and turn from anything that displeases the Lord, for He longs to show mercy.
As for the spiritual attacks—witchcraft, black magic, spirits of rejection, and bad dreams—we stand on the authority of Jesus’ name. "Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7, WEB). The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any curse or spell, and we must cover this family in it daily. The insomnia, anxiety, and depression are also tools of the enemy to steal peace, but God’s Word says, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Claim this promise and reject the lies of the enemy.
Now, let us pray together with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is under siege by the enemy. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You have already won the victory at Calvary. We break every generational curse, every spell, every work of witchcraft and black magic in the name of Jesus. Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this family—over their minds, bodies, spirits, homes, and finances. Let Your healing power flow through them, restoring health where there is sickness, peace where there is anxiety, and provision where there is lack.
Lord, we rebuked the spirits of division, hatred, rejection, and negativity that have caused fighting and disunity. We bind these spirits in Jesus’ name and command them to leave now. Father, soften their hearts toward one another and fill them with Your love, that they may forgive as You have forgiven them. Let unity be restored, for You command a blessing where there is unity (Psalm 133:1).
We pray for deliverance from every demonic stronghold—spirits of poverty, delay, shame, and failure. Father, You are the God of breakthroughs, and we ask that You open doors no man can shut. Provide jobs where there is unemployment, wisdom where there is confusion, and favor where there has been rejection. Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every hidden work of the enemy and bringing it to nothing.
Father, we also pray for salvation for every member of this family. If there are those who have not yet surrendered to Jesus, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn to Christ in repentance and faith. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We cover them with the blood of Jesus, declaring that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their home (Psalm 91:10). We pray for sound sleep, for protection over their dreams, and for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds. Father, let this family rise up as a testimony of Your goodness, that others may see Your hand at work and give You glory.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You expose any unfruitful people or enemies who have been used by the devil to bring harm. Cut off every ungodly soul tie and surround this family with godly counsel and support. Let them walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand in expectation of Your miracles. May this family be restored, delivered, and blessed beyond measure, for Your glory and honor. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, for the battle is not yours but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Continue to pray together as a family, read the Word of God daily, and worship the Lord in the midst of the storm. He is faithful, and He will bring you through. Do not give in to fear or despair, for "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are specific sins or areas of disobedience in any family member’s life, address them with repentance and turn to the Lord for cleansing. He is ready to forgive and restore.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, believing for your complete deliverance and breakthrough. Stay encouraged, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. His promises are yes and amen!
