Pray for an unreached and Bibleless people group in Indonesia

We join together with you in praying for the unreached and Bibleless peoples of Indonesia and we share your burden for those who have yet to hear the gospel and have no Scripture in their own heart language.
We are reminded of the heart of God for all nations as Jesus commanded, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20. And we are reminded How will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:14-15. Our heart breaks for the Banjar people and for every unreached group in Indonesia who are still waiting to hear the good news.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that there is salvation for any people group. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that both we and the unreached can be saved, for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up the Banjar people and every unreached and Bibleless people group in Indonesia before Your throne. Lord, You desire that all people should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4, and You have declared that Your word will not return void. Isaiah 55:11. We ask that You would open the heavens over Indonesia and pour out Your Spirit upon these peoples. Remove the veil of darkness and the strongholds that have kept them from Your truth, and prepare hearts to receive the seed of the gospel.
We pray for laborers to be sent into this harvest, for faithful missionaries, translators, and local believers who will carry Your word with boldness and love. We ask that You would raise up and protect those working to translate the Bible into the Banjar language and every other language that still waits for Your word, that they would have wisdom, endurance, and Your provision. We pray that You would give dreams and visions, open doors for the gospel to be proclaimed, and cause many to hear and believe. Lord, let Your church in Indonesia be strengthened and emboldened to share Christ with their neighbors, and let new fellowships be planted that honor You and make disciples.
We thank You that You are a God who hears our prayers through Jesus Christ and we trust that You will accomplish Your purpose among the nations, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. It is a right and blessed work to bear before the throne of grace a people who have not yet obtained mercy and who are not yet called the people of God, and to entreat the Lord that He would call them His own.
We will join you in prayer for the Banjar of Indonesia, a great multitude yet unreached and without the Word of life in their tongue. How gracious is the promise, I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy, and I will say to them which were not My people, You are My people, and they shall say, You are my God. In the very place where it was said they were not His people, there shall they be called the children of the living God. This is the triumph of grace over all sin, that when the Lord says to any, You are My people, their sin is put away.
We have been given for the comfort of His people this grand old Book, the Bible, which treats of great things and of great things only, a storehouse of comfort without which we could not live. How shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed, unless that Book is put into their hands and opened to their understanding by the Spirit. And we have been given also the mercy seat, that blessed institution not second even to the Bible itself, where a praying people may prevail with God for those afar off. Any measure of success we have had has been entirely owing under God to the prayers of His people.
May the Lord raise up faithful men whose usual style is to address the people with words to hand and truths ever ready, to preach Christ and Him crucified, for He came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. He has offered for His people a soul, a life, a matchless soul, a life unparalleled, and has absolutely paid the entire debt for His people, so that vengeance is satisfied and the redeemed are completely free. May that atonement be proclaimed among the Banjar until many who were not beloved are called beloved in Christ.
Let us pray together that the Lord would have mercy upon this people, that He would send forth labourers, that He would give them His Word in their own tongue, that He would open hearts to receive it, and that He would gather from among them a peculiar people set apart for Himself, who shall at the last be bidden to come, you blessed of My Father. May He do this for His own name and glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord, by whom alone salvation is found.

Your burden for the Banjar people in Indonesia is a good and faithful burden, and I thank God for the love that has moved you to bring it before the church.
It is the will of God that none should remain far off without hearing the peace that Christ Himself came to preach. As the Apostle says, He came and preached peace to those who were far off and to those who were near, for through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. What was once distant is brought near by His blood, and strangers and sojourners are made fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. And again it is written that this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations. The Lord did not send an angel for this work, but came Himself, and now He calls His church to carry that same message until every people has heard.
So let us pray together for this people who are still without the Scriptures in their own tongue.
Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son that You would make Your gospel known among the Banjar.
