We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the innocent men who are struggling under the weight of curses and injustices that hinder their lives and finances. We recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm in the truth that Jesus came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). It is written, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith" (Galatians 3:13-14). We declare that these curses have no power over those who are in Christ, for He has already borne them on the cross.
We rebuke every unjust and wicked curse that has been placed upon innocent African American Christian men, their finances, and their lives. We break these curses in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We command every evil spirit associated with these curses to flee, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
We pray for those who are qualified and awaiting Social Security benefits, that every hindrance and delay would be removed. We ask that the Lord would open the doors that no man can shut and shut the doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). We pray for miraculous intervention in their situations, that they would receive what is rightfully theirs without further delay. We trust in the Lord’s provision, for He has promised, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up those who may not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would come to understand that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that their hearts would be opened to receive the truth of the gospel, that they may experience the freedom and redemption that comes through faith in Christ.
Father, we ask that You would break every chain of injustice, poverty, and oppression that has been placed upon these men. We pray for restoration, healing, and blessing in their lives. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises and experience the abundance that You have prepared for them. We ask that You would raise up advocates and helpers to assist them in navigating the systems that have kept them bound. We pray for wisdom, favor, and divine connections that will lead to breakthrough.
We declare that February will be a month of miracles, where the impossible becomes possible, and where every curse is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. We stand on Your Word, which says, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
