We are deeply saddened to hear about the tragic events in ###, ###, and the plane crash involving students. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up these situations to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we address the earthquakes. The Bible tells us that in the last days, there will be earthquakes in various places. This is a sign that Christ's return is drawing near. As it says in Matthew 24:7 WEB For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; Though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.
We pray for those affected by the earthquakes in ### and ###.
Father, we come before You, lifting up the people of ### and ### who have been affected by the earthquakes. We pray for Your comfort and provision over them during this difficult time. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, their ever-present help in trouble. We pray for the quick delivery of emergency services and the healing of the injured. We pray for the restoration of the communities affected and for Your guidance in the coming days.
We will also pray for the families of the students who lost their lives in the plane crash, as well as for the healing of those who were injured. We pray for Your comfort and peace to surround them during this time of grief and loss.
Father, we lift up the families of the students who lost their lives in the plane crash. We pray that You would be their comfort and strength, that You would surround them with Your peace and love. We ask that You would be near to the brokenhearted. We pray for the healing of those who were injured, that You would restore their health and give them strength.
We also pray for the salvation of those affected by these tragedies, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is written in Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in Him will be saved.
Father, we ask that You would draw those affected by these tragedies to Yourself, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would find hope and healing in You.
Let us be in agreement for these prayer requests in Jesus name.
