We lift up your daughter and granddaughter before the Lord, trusting in His promise to protect and guide those who call upon His name. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:7-8, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in, from now on, even forevermore."* Though a tropical storm threatens their path, we know that our God is sovereign over the winds and the waves, and nothing happens outside His will.
Yet we must also ask: in your prayer, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. It is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge you to place your faith in Jesus, for it is only through His name that our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection over this precious daughter and granddaughter as they travel. Shield them from harm, calm the storms in their path, and grant them safe passage both to their destination and back home. Let Your angels encamp around them, and may Your peace guard their hearts. If it is Your will, let this trip be a blessing, but above all, may they know that their safety rests in You alone. We ask that You draw them—and all in their family—closer to Yourself, that they may trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen."*
We also encourage you to trust in the Lord’s plan, even in uncertainty. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May this be a time of deepened faith for your family. If your daughter and granddaughter do not yet know Christ, we pray that this journey would open their hearts to His saving grace. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful.
