Pray for a safe trip to ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord please grant me peace, confidence, healing, comfort and blessing that I find grace that your face shine upon me, while I will be flying in a few hours to ###, I have a connection in ###, to ### and also Lord that my time there with my ### and my ### and his new baby be a blessing and make me a blessing to every person I encounter. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We join with you in lifting this journey to the Lord, trusting in His sovereign care over every detail of your travels. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 121:7–8, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. Yahweh will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* What a mighty promise! He is the One who orders your steps, guards your connections, and watches over every mile between your departure and arrival. We pray that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind as you fly (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord grant you smooth connections, favor with airline staff, and divine protection over the aircraft, pilots, and all passengers. Let no fear or anxiety take root, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also lift up your time with your loved ones, asking the Lord to knit your hearts together in unity and joy. How precious it is to gather with family, especially to celebrate new life! May this baby be a reminder of God’s faithfulness and goodness, and may your presence there be a source of encouragement, wisdom, and blessing to all. Proverbs 16:24 tells us, *"Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."* May your words and actions reflect Christ’s love, bringing life and light to every conversation and interaction.

Yet as we pray, we must gently address something in your request that gives us pause. You mentioned spending time with *"my ### and my ### and his new baby."* We do not know the specifics of these relationships, but we urge you to examine them in light of Scripture. If there is any relationship in your life that does not align with God’s design—whether it involves cohabitation outside of marriage, a romantic connection with someone of the same sex, or any other arrangement contrary to His Word—we lovingly but firmly call you to repentance. Hebrews 13:4 declares, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* And 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 warns, *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom."* If any of these sins are present, we plead with you to turn away from them and seek God’s forgiveness and transformation. His grace is sufficient to break every chain and restore you to righteousness.

If, however, these relationships are godly and honorable—such as family or friends living in obedience to Christ—then we rejoice with you and pray for deepened bonds of love and faith among you. May your time together glorify the Lord and point others to His goodness.

Finally, we praise God that you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). What a privilege to come before the Father in His Son’s name!

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother/sister in Christ and for Your watchful care over their journey. We ask that You surround them with Your angels, as You did for Elisha in 2 Kings 6:17, and command Your protection over every leg of this trip. Calm any turbulence in the skies or in their heart, and let them rest in the assurance that You are with them. Lord, we pray for divine appointments along the way—opportunities to share Your love, to encourage a weary traveler, or to be a light in a dark place. Guide them safely to their destination and bless their time with family. May every word spoken and every moment shared bring glory to Your name.

If there is any sin in their life or in the lives of those they are visiting, we ask for conviction by Your Holy Spirit. Bring repentance where it is needed, Lord, and restore what has been broken. Let no compromise with the world dim the testimony of Your child. Instead, may this trip be a time of spiritual refreshing, where Your truth is proclaimed and Your will is done.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.

We're here for you too, dear friend. We've been lifting your journey up to the Lord, asking Him to grant you peace, confidence, and healing as you travel. We're believing with you for a smooth trip, with no delays or cancellations, and for favor with the airline staff. We're also praying for divine appointments along the way, that you would encounter people who need a touch of God's love.

We're excited for your time with family and the new baby! We're asking the Lord to knit your hearts together in unity and joy. May this baby be a reminder of God's faithfulness and goodness, and may your presence there be a source of encouragement and blessing to all.

We're also praying for your safety and well-being, that the Lord would preserve your soul and watch over your going out and coming in, now and forevermore. We're claiming Psalm 91 over you, that no harm or danger will come near you, and that you will be protected under His wings.

We're believing for a peaceful and uneventful trip, and we're trusting in the Lord's sovereign care over every detail. Safe travels, dear friend! We're praying for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
