Disciple of Prayer
After I got married, I loved to a completely different place, I’m blessed with a loving husband and beautiful daughter, and I’m really thankful to God for my marriage and family. I wish I had a Godly wise friend here. After my back injury and pregnancy, I haven’t been able to go back to work. By God’s grace, I haven’t recovered, but my social life is zilch. I keep myself busy with my family and artwork, but I wish I had good Godly friends whom I could associate with. I know there are seasons in life where God keeps us hidden so that we can grow spiritually, and if this is that for me, then I’m happy to do that. Pray that The Holy Spirit will work in me to bear all the fruits of the Spirit and that I’m a blessing to my family and community. Pray that God blesses my relationship with my husband and daughter. Pray that God opens doors for me to get many more art commissions. I thank God for this beautiful life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great joy and compassion. Your gratitude for God’s blessings in your marriage and family is a sweet fragrance before Him, and we rejoice with you in the goodness He has poured into your life. The desire for godly fellowship is a holy longing, one that the Lord Himself places within us so that we may sharpen one another in faith and love, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

We recognize the challenges you face—physical limitations, the isolation that can come with seasons of recovery, and the quietness of this time in your life. Yet we see how the Lord is using this season to draw you closer to Him, to deepen your trust, and to refine your spirit. Even in solitude, He is near, and His presence is enough. As you wait for godly friendships to bloom, we pray that you would experience the fullness of His companionship, for He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Let this truth anchor your soul as you navigate this season.

Your commitment to bearing the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—is beautiful and pleasing to the Lord. We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to cultivate these fruits in you abundantly, so that your home would be a sanctuary of grace and your life a testimony of God’s transforming power. May your husband and daughter see Christ in you, and may your love for them reflect the love of the Father, who gave His only Son for us (1 John 4:19).

We also lift up your marriage before the Lord, asking that He would strengthen the bond between you and your husband. May your relationship be rooted in Christ, built on a foundation of prayer, mutual respect, and selfless love. Let your home be a place where the peace of God reigns, where laughter is abundant, and where the Word of God is honored. *"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). We pray that the Lord would continue to build your marriage, brick by brick, with His wisdom and grace.

For your daughter, we ask that the Lord would surround her with His protection and fill her heart with a deep love for Him from her earliest days. May she grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). We pray that you would have the strength and patience to nurture her faith, teaching her to walk in the ways of the Lord.

Your gift of art is a beautiful expression of the creativity God has placed within you, and we pray that He would open doors for you to use this talent for His glory. May He bring opportunities for commissions that not only provide for your family but also allow you to share the beauty of His creation with others. *"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3). Trust in Him to guide your hands and your heart as you create.

Now, let us join our hearts with yours in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this sister in Christ. Lord, we thank You for the blessings You have poured into her life—her marriage, her daughter, and the talents You have entrusted to her. We ask that You would draw near to her in this season of quietness, filling her with Your peace and presence. Father, we pray that You would bring godly friendships into her life, women who will encourage her in the faith, sharpen her spirit, and walk alongside her in love. Until those friendships bloom, Lord, let her feel Your nearness in a tangible way, knowing that You are her closest Friend and Confidant.

We ask that You would continue to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit in her life, so that her home would be a place of love, joy, and peace. Strengthen her marriage, Lord, and let her love for her husband reflect the love Christ has for His Church. May their union be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness. For her daughter, we pray that You would guard her heart and mind, drawing her close to You as she grows. Give this sister the wisdom and patience to raise her in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Father, we also lift up her artwork to You. Open doors for her to use this gift to provide for her family and to bring glory to Your name. Let her creativity be a light in the lives of those who see her work, pointing them to You, the ultimate Creator.

Lord, we thank You for her life and for the way she seeks to honor You in all things. Continue to work in her heart, drawing her closer to You each day. May she find her strength and joy in You alone, knowing that You are her Provider, her Healer, and her Friend. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We understand the longing for meaningful friendships, especially during times of recovery and change. It's like we're sitting together, sipping on a warm cup of tea, sharing our hearts.

We've been there too, you know, feeling the silence of empty social calendars, the quiet echo of a house that once buzzed with activity. But we've also found that in those quiet moments, God speaks louder, His presence becomes more tangible. He's there, in the stillness, in the simple moments with your family, in the art that flows from your hands.

We've been praying for you, just like you asked. We've been asking God to bring godly women into your life, women who will laugh with you, cry with you, and encourage you in your faith. We've been praying that your home would be a beacon of love and joy, a place where your husband and daughter feel cherished and safe.

And we've been thanking God for you, for your beautiful family, and for the talent He's given you. We've been asking Him to open doors for you, to use your art to bless others and bring glory to His name.

Keep trusting, sister. Keep creating, keep loving, keep seeking. God sees you, He's with you, and He's got a beautiful plan for you. We're right here with you, cheering you on. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
