It's sorta' like that verse about praying without ceasing, like an on'going conversation with God. I was just talking to Him about ### and neighbor issues.

Hahaaa it means He ain't just "dressing up or showing off". Puttin' on the ritz means getting all dressed up like one is going to the theatre or opera. When He rolls up His sleeves He is about to do something BIG TIME, cuz He's gettin' ready to "go to work" on something.

This expression sounds to me like someone is gambling and putting all the money on some number lol! Ritz is a famous hotel right? But it has nothing to do with that expression right?

Amen! I think you will be financially blessed because you are praying so much. Just wait and see. You are sowing into the spirit and putting your treasure into heavenly places.

Puttin' on the ritz here means to get all dressed up.......no the ### and gambling are not associated with the expression.

The song is referring to the seriousness of God actually "rolling up His sleeves"...it means He's going to seriously deal with something. It is associated with the verse about God baring His Right arm.

From time to time I speak out and say it's not always "noble" to give someone money, because they could be using it for bad, I even posted blogs about it. But everyone jumped down my throat, like I shouldn't balk at giving. The story is a testimony to my point. Amen.

Please pray for a beggar in my city block. He asks for money, and has crutches, I found out from him that he smokes a lot and that he broke his facial bone a couple of days ago (had something on his eye), he said that he started to cough because the smoke of the cigarette irritated him and fell from a chair right on his face. I gave him a couple of times money. He looks like he is homeless. Today I found out from my cab driver that he earns a lot of money with begging and that he drives regularly with a cab (which is a luxury here in Croatia) and that he drinks ALOOT.
Pray that God will give me wisdom next time, exactly what to say to him, so that he will be convicted and receive Jesus in his life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen!! I have an idea of what to do and say, pray that God will show me if I should do that, some witty non-judgmental thing....he will be puzzled....

I think GOD IS TELLING ME TO PRAY MORE FOR YOU THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE WISDOM, THUS BEGGAR MAYBE SOMEONE GOD WILL ATTEND TO WITHOUT YOUR CONCERN. BUT WHATEVER, I AM PRAYING FOR YOU TO HAVE WISDOM CONCERNING THIS BEGGAR, but yes be blessed with your non-judgmental saying, praise GOD FOR YOU.
