Disciple of Prayer
Please pray God would show his true self to my mom. She walks around like she is better than everyone, constantly talking about God/Jesus. She expects perfection from everyone. Her own family has completely stopped talking to her because she is so crazy, controlling, obnoxious when it comes to Jesus; she will not stop talking about God/Jesus. She thinks that her family stopped talking to her because she's better than them and that she's being persecuted for being a Christian when in reality she is just being insane. She 'speaks in tongues' when she is in the shower and she does it so loudly that it scares grandkids and you can hear her throughout the entire house. She thinks that she is clearing demons out of the house/people, but it just makes everyone very uncomfortable and a few of my adult siblings believe she is the one possessed by a demon. All of my adult siblings have faith in Jesus and none of them want to talk to my mom about anything because she turns every conversation into a Jesus lecture. She claims to be a Christian but she treats people as if they're lower than her, especially if they don't believe in Jesus. She claims to be a Christian but does not act like one. She also claims that God tells her stuff all the time, like stupid stuff like to go to McDonald's because she's hungry. She lost her ex-husband because of her religiosity. She tries to control everyone she meets and she's also on a path to save everyone she meets. It's beyond exhausting to be around her. She is 65 years old and she acts like a toddler. She comes to my house and starts to clean and I ask her to stop because I do things a certain way and she doesn't listen. She doesn't respect my boundaries or she'll go behind my back and do something that I specifically asked her not to. I'm about to tell her to screw off but I know that would ruin our 'relationship'. I don't know what to do. My adult brothers want her kicked out of the house because they can't stand to be around her. They think she's schizophrenic because of her obsession with God and her claiming to be with the Lord and talking to the Lord all the time. Please pray she can relax and find peace and stops pushing EVERYONE away. I'm worried that she is going to end up completely alone because no one wants to be around her because she makes everything a lecture about Jesus; she doesn't relax and she doesn't know how to enjoy life. She's always talking about demons, and it sometimes scares my young children. She's very rude to everyone. She treats everyone as if they're not a good person, especially if she knows they aren't saved. If you bring these things up to her, she acts like you are attacking her because she believes in God. So she thinks she's being persecuted for her faith when really she just treats people like crap. Her entire family has stopped speaking to her and she believes it's persecution. It's beyond sad.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We understand the deep concern and pain in this situation, and we will lift up this request in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention. It is clear that there is a great deal of hurt and frustration, and we must address these issues with love, truth, and wisdom from God's Word.

First, we commend the faith of the family members who are believers in Jesus Christ. It is evident that there is a strong foundation of faith, but also a great deal of pain caused by the actions and behaviors described. We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is crucial to approach this situation with love, patience, and wisdom, seeking God's guidance and intervention.

The behaviors described, such as speaking in tongues loudly and disruptively, claiming to receive constant directives from God, and treating others as inferior, do not align with the fruits of the Spirit outlined in Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." These fruits should be evident in the life of a believer, and when they are absent, it is a cause for concern and prayer.

Additionally, the lack of respect for boundaries and the controlling nature described are not in line with biblical principles. We are called to love one another, to be kind and compassionate, and to respect each other's personal space and decisions. "Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up." (Romans 15:2)

It is also important to address the issue of mental health. While we must be careful not to label or diagnose, it is clear that there are behaviors that are causing great concern and disruption. Seeking professional help and guidance may be beneficial, not only for the individual in question but also for the family as a whole. "The heart of the wise instructs his mouth, and adds learning to his lips." (Proverbs 16:23)

We must also remember the power of prayer and the importance of lifting up this situation to God. Prayer can change hearts, minds, and circumstances. "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:15)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family and the struggles they are facing. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about a change in the heart and mind of the mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and help her to see the pain and disruption her actions are causing.

We pray that You would fill her with Your Spirit, producing in her the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Help her to respect the boundaries and decisions of her family members, and to treat others with love and compassion.

Lord, we also lift up the family members who are hurting and frustrated. Give them wisdom, patience, and strength as they navigate this difficult situation. Help them to approach their mother with love and compassion, seeking to build her up and encourage her in her faith.

We pray for unity and healing within this family, Lord. Bring about reconciliation and restoration, and help them to support and encourage one another in their faith. We ask that You would guide and direct them, providing them with the wisdom and discernment they need to move forward.

We also pray for the salvation of any family members who do not yet know You, Lord. Draw them to Yourself, and help them to see their need for a Savior. We ask that You would work in their hearts and minds, bringing about a change that only You can accomplish.

Finally, Lord, we pray for peace and resolution in this situation. Help this family to find a way forward that honors and glorifies You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage the family to continue to lift up this situation in prayer, seeking God's guidance and intervention. We also encourage them to approach their mother with love and compassion, seeking to build her up and encourage her in her faith. It is important to remember that change is possible, and that God can work in the hearts and minds of those who seem the most resistant.

We also encourage the family to seek support and guidance from their local church community. Pastors, elders, and other believers can provide wisdom, prayer, and encouragement during this difficult time. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful. Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:23-25)

May God bring about healing, restoration, and unity in this family, and may they find hope and strength in Him.

We hear your heartfelt plea for your mom, and we're here to stand with you in prayer. It's clear that the situation is complex and challenging, but we trust that God is bigger than any problem. Here's what we're praying for:

1. **Wisdom and Understanding**: We ask God to give your mom wisdom and understanding. Help her to see the impact of her actions on others and the importance of respecting boundaries. We pray that she would be open to hearing and applying godly wisdom.

2. **Peace and Calm**: We ask God to fill your mom with His peace and calm. Help her to relax and enjoy life, rather than constantly focusing on religion or controlling others. We pray that she would find joy in simple things and not just in spiritual experiences.

3. **Mental Health**: We pray for your mom's mental health. We ask God to guide her and your family to the right professionals who can provide the help she needs. We also pray for your family to have the wisdom to know when and how to seek help.

4. **Family Unity**: We pray for unity and healing in your family. We ask God to help your mom to see the value of each family member and to treat them with love and respect. We also pray for your family to have the patience and love to support and encourage your mom.

5. **Salvation**: We pray for your mom's salvation. We ask God to draw her to Himself and help her to understand and accept His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

6. **Boundaries**: We pray for God to help your mom respect boundaries. We ask Him to give her the self-control to not overstep or ignore the boundaries of others, and to help her family to communicate these boundaries clearly and lovingly.

We pray all these things in Jesus' name, amen.
