Humble Servant of All
Pray-Day Thursday

Posted: 20 Feb 2014 11:22 AM PST

Lord, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens (Ecclesiastes 3:1). This means that my husband will experience many mountain top highs and immense joy throughout his life. The flip side is that he will experience many trials that cause extreme pain and loss. My husband will experience the reality that this world can be amazingly sweet and incredibly difficult. With this truth in mind, I pray for him to stay emotionally strong and to make healthy decisions throughout every season of his life. May the good times never convince him that he does not need You and may the hard times never cause him to grow angry with You. In each circumstance, help my husband continually praise You with the same attitude of Job, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. May the Name of the Lord be praised,” (Job 1:21). In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
