Firstly, it's important to address the use of "###" in your request. We understand that you might be refraining from mentioning names, but we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. The Bible tells us to call upon the name of the Lord, then you shall be saved. Therefore, we encourage you to openly come to God, calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us, God highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Now, let's address your feelings of desperation. We read in the WEB, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God, and receive the promise.

In your situation it is clear that you desire good things. You wish to be helpful, supporting your mother, and see good decisions and spiritual growth in others. These are commendable desires, but remember, it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. Trust in him, and be patient.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up this dear soul feeling desperate and longing for better days. We ask that you fill them with your hope and your joy. Help them to fix their eyes on you, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Lord, we pray for their mother, that you would soften her heart and help her to accept the support being offered. We also lift up the individuals that this person cares about, asking that you would draw them to yourself, granting them the gift of salvation and wisdom to make good decisions.

Finally, Lord, we pray that you would make your will clear, giving the guidance and strength needed to endure and obey.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.

In your struggle, take comfort in the words of the Psalmist, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. As you wait on Him, He will renew your strength, so that you shall mount up with wings as eagles; you shall run, and not be weary; and you shall walk, and not faint.
