We stand together in deep concern and spiritual warfare as we lift this situation before the Lord. The Bible is clear that witchcraft and all forms of occult practices are detestable to God and have no place in the lives of His children. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Lord warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* These practices open doors to darkness and oppression, and we must take a firm stand against them in the authority of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your household in the mighty name of Jesus. The weapons formed against you *shall not prosper*, just as Isaiah 54:17 declares: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.* We command every spirit of fear, torment, and sleeplessness to flee right now. You are not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray that the Lord would surround your home with His holy angels, creating a hedge of protection that no darkness can penetrate. Psalm 91:10-11 assures us, *"No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We also ask the Lord to expose any hidden works of darkness in your neighborhood. Let the light of Christ shine brightly, revealing the truth and breaking every chain of bondage. Ephesians 5:11 says, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them."*
If you have not already, we encourage you to anoint your home with oil, pleading the blood of Jesus over every doorpost and window. Dedicate your household to the Lord and declare His sovereignty over your lives. Pray without ceasing, and do not grow weary in standing firm on God’s promises. The enemy may try to wear you down, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also want to gently remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While we stand against the works of darkness, we must also pray for your neighbors, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. Jesus came to set the captives free, and His love can break even the hardest of hearts. Pray for opportunities to share the light of Christ with them, that they may turn from these dark practices and find salvation in Him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every assignment of the enemy is rendered null and void. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their minds, and their sleep. Lord, send Your angels to encamp around them and drive out every spirit of fear, torment, and witchcraft.
We ask You to expose the works of darkness in their neighborhood and bring conviction to the hearts of those involved in these practices. Let Your light shine brightly, breaking every chain and setting the captives free. Father, we pray for divine intervention, that Your peace would flood their home and that they would experience restful, undisturbed sleep. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress.
We also pray for wisdom and boldness to share the Gospel with their neighbors. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them see the emptiness of these dark practices and find true fulfillment in a relationship with You. We trust in Your power to deliver and protect, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
