Pray against these complications happening during my exploratory heart cath for rapid heart rate. Sorry, I'm leaning towards prayer over this.

*Bleeding or infection at the site where your catheter was inserted

*Damage to your blood vessels where the catheter may have scraped as it traveled to your heart

*Puncture of your heart

*Damage to your heart valves

*Damage to your heart's electrical system, which could worsen your arrhythmia and require a pacemaker to correct

*Blood clots in your legs or lungs (venous thromboembolism)

*Stroke or heart attack

*Narrowing of the veins that carry blood between your lungs and heart (pulmonary vein stenosis)

*Damage to your kidneys from dye used during the procedure

*Death in rare cases

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Stop Worrying!   Please place all your concerns in God's hands.   He will lead you through this.  "Lord, we pray tonight that your lay your healing hands upon this lost lamb and heal him.  Bring him peace of mind.  Let him finish all the good works here on earth that has to complete for you.  We pray together for success.  Amen
