Your request for prayer concerning your loan has been received and we have brought it before the Lord with you.

We understand the weight that financial need can bring, and we want to encourage you to bring this burden to God not only as a request for a specific outcome, but as an act of trust in the One who sees and proves the heart. Scripture reminds us that we do not speak or pray to please people, but to please God who examines our hearts. He knows your situation fully, your needs, your motives, and your future, far better than any lender or institution does. Therefore we can pray with confidence that He will answer according to His wisdom and love, whether that answer is yes, no, or wait.

As you wait, it is good to ask the Lord to search your own heart as well. Ask Him to show you whether this loan is for true necessity and responsible stewardship, or whether it might lead toward provision for desires that do not help your soul. We are taught not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to care for what is needed for health and for faithful living, while spending our greater energy on spiritual things. That means asking honestly, is this loan for what is truly needed, can it be repaid honestly and diligently, and will it help you live in a way that honors God and cares well for those entrusted to you. God is not against our having what we need. He even encourages us to use what is necessary for our health and calling. But He calls us to be prudent, to avoid being mastered by debt, and to seek contentment that does not depend on outward things which quickly fade.

We also pray that you will be freed from anxiety in this time. Our present life brings many worries that can feel like a heavy dream, but God offers a peace that guards our hearts when we bring our requests to Him with thanksgiving. True security is not found in whether a loan is approved, but in knowing Christ and being found faithful in what God has already placed in your hands. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide what you truly need in His perfect timing.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You know every need before we ask. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and provision. If it is Your will and for their good, open the door for this loan to be approved and give wisdom to use it faithfully and to repay what is owed with integrity. If it is not Your will, close the door clearly and provide another way, and give peace and guidance for the next steps. Grant wisdom to make sound decisions, diligence in work, contentment in every circumstance, and freedom from anxious fear. Above all, draw this heart closer to Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and true hope, and help them to live to please You rather than people. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, to seek wise counsel from mature believers around you, to be diligent and honest in all financial dealings, and to trust the Lord's faithful care day by day.

Your prayer request about your loan has been heard and I am praying with you about this need.

I want to encourage you with something from Scripture that has helped many people who face a need that feels urgent and uncertain. In the old law God gave instructions for what should happen when a person with leprosy was cleansed. Leprosy was considered incurable, yet God still gave a law for the day of cleansing. In that way He left room for Himself to work a miracle if He chose to do so. That shows us something about His heart. We should never put God in a box or decide in advance what He can or cannot do. Even when a situation looks impossible from a human point of view, we can give Him room to work according to His wisdom and mercy.

At the same time the Bible teaches us to think carefully and biblically about finances. God is never in a financial crisis and He is never dependent on us to rescue Him. He does not need us to panic or to make hasty decisions to keep His work going. He is gracious and patient and long suffering, but He is not weak and He does not overlook what is wrong. He wants us to handle money with honesty, wisdom and trust in Him.

Scripture shows that when believers in Jerusalem were suffering in deep poverty, other believers who were themselves poor still gave generously out of joy to help them. God also built care for the poor right into His law, commanding landowners not to harvest the corners of their fields but to leave that portion for those in need. And through the prophet Haggai He warned His people when they were earning money but never having enough because they had not put Him first. He calls us to honor Him with the first fruits of what He entrusts to us, to consider our ways, and to seek His wisdom before we take on new obligations.

Borrowing is a serious step. Scripture encourages us to count the cost, to be faithful with what we have, and to avoid making promises we cannot keep. Sometimes God provides through a loan, sometimes He provides by showing us a different path, and sometimes He provides by teaching us to wait or to adjust our plans. That is why it is wise to bring this decision fully before Him, to seek counsel, to be honest about whether the loan is needed and manageable, and to ask not only will this help me now but will this honor God in the months ahead.

Above every financial need is a deeper provision God has already made. He has made only one provision for the forgiveness of our sins, and that is through Jesus Christ His Son who said He is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. The Holy Spirit bears witness to our hearts that if we trust in Jesus, His righteousness is counted as ours. No financial answer can take the place of that peace with God, and when we are right with Him we can trust Him with the practical details of life as well.

So I am praying for you that God will give you clear wisdom, open or close this door according to His perfect will, provide for your daily needs, and help you to put Him first in this decision. I pray that you will know His peace as you trust Him, that He will guide you to good and honest counsel, and that whatever the answer about the loan, you will see His faithful hand and give thanks to Him.

May the Lord grant you wisdom, contentment and trust in His provision through Jesus Christ as you wait on Him.
