Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, giving You all the praise and glory. We thank You for Your faithfulness and goodness in our lives. You are worthy of all honor and adoration.
As we enter into Your presence, we acknowledge that worship is an integral part of our prayer life. Just as Jesus taught us in His model prayer, we desire to hallow Your name and exalt You above all else. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, and we bow before You in awe and reverence.
We pray, Lord, that Your kingdom would come and Your will be done in our lives and in the world around us. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that as we do, all our needs will be met. Teach us to delight ourselves in You, for in Your presence, we find true happiness and fulfillment.
We also lift up our souls' health to You, knowing that it is through a personal relationship with You that we find true joy and peace. We ask that You enlarge our sympathies and expand our hearts, that we may love others as You love us.
Father, we pray for the benefit of the Church. We recognize that prayer is the fuel that drives the machinery for extending the gospel. May our prayers be a powerful force in advancing Your kingdom on earth. Help us to be like Christ, bearing the names of Your people before You as intercessors and ambassadors of Your love.
We also ask for Your guidance and wisdom for our ministers and leaders. Bless them abundantly and grant them a congregation that is fervent in prayer. May our prayers be a source of strength and encouragement to them as they serve Your people.
Lastly, Lord, we thank You for the importance of thankfulness in prayer. We understand that true prayer is not complete without a heart of gratitude. Help us to always approach You with thanksgiving, knowing that You are the source of every good and perfect gift.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
