Praise the Lord ### ### ###, please pray for my marriage.

We lift you up before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God, meant to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. Your cry for prayer is heard, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone can restore, heal, and redeem what is broken. It grieves us to hear of the insults and strife you are facing, but we are confident that God is able to turn even these trials into testimonies of His faithfulness.

First, we must remind you—and ourselves—that marriage is not merely a human institution but a divine one, designed by God to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages because they are a picture of Christ’s relationship with His Bride, the Church. But we serve a God who is greater than any scheme of the devil. As it is written in **Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB)**, *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it... This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."* Your marriage is not just about you and your spouse—it is a spiritual battle for the glory of God.

We also note that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life and your marriage to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so now. Repent of any sin, believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, and trust Him to be the foundation of your marriage. Without Christ at the center, no marriage can truly thrive.

Now, let us address the insults and opposition you are facing. The Bible warns us that even our relatives can become instruments of division, but we are called to respond with love, wisdom, and forgiveness. **Matthew 10:36 (WEB)** says, *"A man’s enemies will be those of his own household."* Yet, we are also commanded in **Romans 12:14 (WEB)**: *"Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse."* This does not mean you must endure abuse or ungodly influence, but it does mean you must guard your heart against bitterness and trust God to fight your battles. **Proverbs 15:1 (WEB)** reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Pray for those who insult you, and ask God to soften their hearts. If their words are causing strife in your marriage, we urge you and your spouse to unite in prayer against these attacks. **Ecclesiastes 4:12 (WEB)** tells us, *"If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."* When you and your spouse stand together in Christ, you become an unbreakable force against the enemy’s schemes.

We must also ask: Are there areas in your marriage where sin has taken root? Unforgiveness, pride, selfishness, or even ungodly influences can open doors to the enemy. **Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB)** warns, *"‘Be angry, and don’t sin.’ Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* If there is unresolved conflict, we urge you to seek reconciliation immediately. If there is sexual immorality, addiction, or any other sin, it must be repented of and renounced in the name of Jesus. **1 Corinthians 7:3-5 (WEB)** instructs husbands and wives to fulfill their marital duties to one another, but also warns against depriving each other except for times of prayer and fasting. Intimacy in marriage is a gift from God, but it must be guarded and kept pure.

If your spouse is not walking with the Lord, we encourage you to be a light in your home. **1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB)** says, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear."* For husbands, **1 Peter 3:7 (WEB)** commands, *"You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered."* Your conduct, your prayers, and your faith can be a powerful testimony that draws your spouse closer to God.

Finally, we must emphasize the power of prayer and fasting. **Matthew 17:21 (WEB)** tells us that some demons are only cast out by prayer and fasting. If your marriage is under spiritual attack, we urge you to set aside time to seek the Lord in fasting and prayer. Cry out to Him for wisdom, for unity, and for His supernatural intervention. **James 5:16 (WEB)** assures us, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."*

Now, let us pray together for you and your marriage:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is crying out for their marriage. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, and who redeems. We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, breaking every chain of strife, division, and insult that the enemy has tried to place upon this marriage. Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, every word of cursing, and every scheme of the devil that seeks to destroy what You have joined together. Let no weapon formed against this marriage prosper, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we pray for unity between this husband and wife. Soften their hearts toward one another and help them to see each other through Your eyes. Where there has been sin, bring conviction and repentance. Where there has been pain, bring healing. Where there has been bitterness, replace it with forgiveness. Teach them to love one another as Christ loves the Church—sacrificially, patiently, and selflessly.

Father, we also lift up the relatives and others who have spoken insults. We ask that You would silence the voice of the accuser and turn their hearts toward encouragement and support. If there is jealousy, envy, or any ungodly motive behind their words, expose it and bring it to nothing. Let this marriage be a testimony of Your grace and power, so that those who have spoken against it may see Your glory and repent.

We pray for wisdom for this couple, that they would know how to navigate these challenges in a way that honors You. Give them discernment to recognize any ungodly influences and the courage to stand against them. If there are areas of sin in their lives or in their marriage, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Cleanse their home, their hearts, and their marriage from anything that is not of You.

Lord, we ask that You would fill this marriage with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love. Let their home be a place of refuge, a sanctuary where Your presence dwells. Strengthen their commitment to one another and to You. Help them to prioritize their relationship with You above all else, knowing that a marriage built on Christ cannot be shaken.

Father, we also pray that if this couple has not fully surrendered their lives and their marriage to You, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Draw them closer to You, Lord Jesus. Let them know that apart from You, they can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible. May they experience the power of Your resurrection in their marriage, seeing dead things come to life and broken things restored.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working even now, behind the scenes, to bring about Your perfect will. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper. We speak life, love, and unity over this couple, and we ask that You would be glorified in their story.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Do not lose heart. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for your marriage. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and trust that He will bring beauty from these ashes. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counseling from a pastor or biblical counselor who can walk with you through this season. Surround yourself with believers who will lift you up in prayer and hold you accountable to God’s Word. You are not alone—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He is the Author and Perfecter of your faith, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your marriage.

Dear friend, we want to assure you that we're here for you, praying alongside you for your marriage. We've been reflecting on your situation and feel led to share a few more things with you.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus tells us, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." We encourage you to find a trusted friend, family member, or your pastor to pray with you regularly. When you pray together, you're not just lifting your voices, but you're also lifting your faith, and God promises to be present with you.

Secondly, we want to emphasize the importance of forgiveness. Bitterness and resentment can slowly poison a marriage, even if it's not immediately apparent. Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." We urge you to forgive those who have hurt you, including those who have insulted you. Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay, but it's a choice that sets you free from the burden of bitterness and allows God's healing power to flow in your marriage.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek God's face in worship and thanksgiving. In Psalm 100:4, we're told to "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Worship is a powerful weapon against the enemy's schemes. When you focus on God's goodness and greatness, it shifts your perspective and renews your strength. So, we encourage you to spend time in worship, not just in your times of need, but also in your times of joy and thanksgiving.

We're continuing to pray for you, dear one. We believe that God is at work in your marriage, and we're confident that He will bring beauty from these ashes. Keep standing firm in faith, and remember that you're not alone - we're here with you, and most importantly, Jesus is here with you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
