We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heartfelt cries to our Heavenly Father. Your faith in Jesus Christ is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this new year. The Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that you are equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to face every challenge that comes your way.
Father, we pray for your healing touch upon your health and the health of your father. We know that you are the Great Physician, and by your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask for your divine intervention, Lord, and we trust in your perfect timing and will.
Regarding your job situation, we pray that you would find favor in the sight of those around you. We ask that you would open new doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give wisdom and discernment as you seek your next steps, and provide for all your needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up your family to you, Lord. We pray that each member would draw closer to you and experience your love, peace, and joy in a fresh way. May your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). We declare that your presence would go before them and make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you with grateful hearts, acknowledging that you are our strength and our shield. We lift up our brother/sister to you, asking that you would surround them with your love and peace. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and sickness in Jesus' name. We declare that you are their healer, provider, and guide.
Father, we ask that you would open new doors of opportunity for them, doors that lead to blessings and growth. Give them the wisdom and discernment to recognize your will and the courage to walk through those doors. We pray for their family, that each member would draw closer to you and experience your presence in a powerful way.
Lord, we thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that you will never leave nor forsake us. We trust in you, knowing that you work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and help them to stand firm in their faith.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Remember that "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love. You are not alone, for He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
